I've never used a Banneton before, and used this was easy to use.the only thing i have a problem with.. when it first arrived it had a strong chaep silicon smell to it. the smell went away after washing couple of times.the extra items that came with it, are cheap quality. the whisk seems like it would give me a splinter if i hold it hard. the bench scrapers seems to stain easy and kind of flimsy. the brush is same quality silicon as the Banneton. the lame is ok!

I’ve used bamboo bannetons and now silicone and I like them both. This kit is great quality at a great price. I was very impressed!

I just started making bread. I love the entire process. The little baskets are so cute and unnecessary, but they work so well. I use them every time. The loaves rise perfectly.

I really appreciate the value of this bundle for making bread. I have started making pizza dough regularly since the price can be so expensive on the store. I use the silicone basket to rise the dough. Love the accessories too and it’s quick and easy clean up. Highly recommend

Doesn't hold shape lets bread expand way to much in the oven. I do like how it folds down for storage tho

The baskets are overly sized and makes too big of a loaf. Have to recalculate the moisture content because of silicone. Often times to dense because product doesn’t breathe during the baking process

When I opened the box and saw this set, I was pretty impressed with the packaging. It comes in a nice box that shows everything that’s inside. It comes with a lot of different tools and you’d be surprised how small the box is because everything will fit inside. The silicone bowls Can pop up and flatten. You can keep them flat for storage and then pop them open when you need to use them for bread. It says you can bake with them and that they can handle up to 490 some degrees. So that’s pretty Convenient to be able to let the dough rise and then pop it straight into the oven.

I am trying to relive my childhood when my grandmother always had a sourdough starter recipe going. I wish I had paid more attention on how she did everything. I found this set, and was a little skeptical that it would help me, and my amateur baking. It was just what I needed! This was a sturdy set. The tools were so helpful. The dough whisk was really effective in mixing the ingredients. The oil brush helped me to add just the right amount of oil. It was a nice touch to have the metal scraper to use to collect the dough into a ball. The scoring lame was sharp, and scored the dough effortlessly. I must CAUTION the user about the “razor blades” included that go on the lame. The “razor blades” arrive in tiny envelopes that my little boy thought were “valentines.” I myself thought they must have sent little fun thank you notes in the tiny envelopes like some sellers do to their customers. He was tearing the envelope open when I took it away from him. I ended up cutting my thumb on one of them opening the envelope quickly. So use caution. I have attached a photo that includes the envelopes.The silicone baskets are so impressive. I don’t even have to worry about buying a separate baking pan because I can bake in them. The bread turned out well. I liked the creases design in the bread from the sides of the baskets. I will be practicing more with the set as practice really does make perfect when it comes to bread making. Overall, to get two of these high quality baskets, and all these tools, for a low price, is a tremendous value.

This is a nice bread proofing and baking set. The silicone bowls are thick and sturdy. They are a perfect size for a standard loaf of bread. It comes with accessories which are all good quality and useful - a dutch whisk for mixing the dough (if not using a mixer), dough scraper, silicone brush and a lame for scoring the bread before baking.I did wash them before use, but while baking they have some off gassing which made my smoke detector go off. I would maybe put them in the oven and let them burn off any residue before baking bread in them. It did not make the smoke detector go off after a second bake.
