I love using this size for my sourdough. I can take a full loaf recipe and split it in 3 and it makes the perfect size for our family. I also like to gift this size. I spray them with some water and sprinkle some flour on them and let them dry and then that helps to keep my dough from sticking all over. Would buy again!

I do a lot of bake sales and samples. These are great. Smaller than a cereal bowl but they have worked out.

The small banneton's work great! The item didn't come with all 6 bannetons but the seller made it right and fixed the issue promptly. Great product and great customer service!

Nice basket with liner (or cover, depending on how you want to use it). Great price for this.

These bannetons are great for making bread bowls! I love the size and use the bread bowls for dips and soup bowls. I use them very frequently and they have held up well so far. Great product for the price!

The liner fabric is a bit rough and not like the picture but it's ok. I don't use it anyway. You can just flour the basket instead. The basket is not 100% level, it is slightly slanted, but I also don't mind that. For this price, the quality is very good value for money.

I bought two of these baskets in one order to make my life as a new hobby baker easier. I'm really happy with them, but there are a few things I should note:* The baskets I got are not the same size - one is noticeably smaller than the other. Really not a problem for me, as when I divide my dough I always end up with uneven balls. Now that said, if you are more precise, you may run into a problem or two.* I'm not sure either of my liners is linen. One might be, but the other is certainly not. The quality of the liners I received is honestly somewhat disparate. They both work for sure, but it's of note.* When the baskets arrived, one of my liners had a good amount of foreign material embedded on it. A few washes took care of the problem, but it was pretty odd.Look, in the end, these work fine for a home hobby baker. I use them weekly, and they've held up great. I would buy them again if I needed to - but I would probably look for a little higher quality if I was getting much more serious.

I bought this before I ever made bread. I wanted to get everything I needed ahead of time. I liked that this came with the cloth cover. I liked the price also. I'm glad I purchased this, it made my first time bread making process easier and prettier. I really like the lines it leave on the bread. I am starting to get some splinters on it, the flour seems to be keeping the dough from snagging for now. I'm not sure if that is normal for these baskets. This would be 5 stars if not for the splinters.

I purchased the 8.5" basket. It turned out to be the perfect size for my einkhorn sourdough artisan loaf. I was very concerned when I first looked into purchasing a banneton basket, due to the fact that they are not washable. This turned out not be to a problem. I use my basket without a liner--I use the liner to cover the basket while my dough proofs. Though the dough generally sticks a bit when I am dumping it out (even though I heavily flour the basket, clean-up has never been a problem. I just shake the basket out over the sink, knocking it against the sink a few times, to get out the loose flour, then I use a vegetable scrubber to gently brush out any stuck-on bits, and getting into the grooves, then I shake and knock again, repeating as needed. You're not going to get every bit of flour out, but it's just dry flour--harmless. I've used the basket about 5 times now, and I am completely satisfied with its performance. I am currently in search of a cloth bag to store my banneton in because I've notice that it leaves a tiny bit of flour on the floor of the cabinet where I store it, and I'm afraid it will eventually attract bugs.
