I have used these pliers to re-install several seat covers on Ram, Jeep, Dodge vehicles and they worked every time and smooth as butter. These pliers are all you will need to install seat covers that use hog rings after you either replaced the butt warmer, seat cushion or even the cover itself.

Worked good on my truck seat covers. Could use some glue on the rubber grips though. They tend to slide off.

Had a similiar tool years ago..had to replace it and thistool worked great. Holds the hog ring well and easy to crimp the ring.

The steel are harder than the cheap one. The cup are deeper, hog ring doesn't jump out like the cheap one. Good product.

This is a well made tool and worked for my auto upholstery project. For a few dollars more you get a tool that will last you for years than some bargain item that won't. I have no criticisms of this set of pliers. I used it with 3/4" SS rings.

Purchased Lisle 61410 Angled Hog Ring Pliers, hoping they would work with the pig rings (Decker #1 humps) that were recommended by the person I bought several feet of 3/8 " Shock (Bungie) cord with the associated hooks. When I started looking for pliers, most seemed not only Chinese, (Lisle Corp. is in Iowa) for 3/4" and below hog rings but appeared to be stamped and poorly riveted. These pliers are well made, in fact the rivet for the hinge was one of the deciding factors in my purchase. Much to my surprise they handled the 1 inch "hump" rings and worked just fine. I did use a large pair of water pump pliers to flatten out the hump, but I had no problem fitting the doubled over cord into the ring and squeezing them shut.My first purchase of "hog rings or tools" but I can tell it won't be my last. Couldn't recommend Lisle more for a casual user, like my self.

I purchased a couple pair of them, they do the job just fine. The problem with the pliers I received is the "soft handle covers" they are not glued or anything like that and try to come off and/or roll when you use the pliers. bad design on the handle covers. I will most likely take them off or try to glue them?
