Product is a lie. You can only use it one way. It bends and breaks if you try to use it externally. Which I needed. Waste of money.. misleading

Solid-feeling internal snap-ring pliers are a quality made item. Obviously the description now matches what they are, so I've gotta give em 5 stars - had no issues to gripe about.

These Upgraded 38700 Spindle Snap Ring Pliers Compatible with Ford SD Ford Super Duty Pickups 2007 and Newer, 10.9in Internal External Snap Ring Pliers for Installation and Removal of Circlips (Blue) work as expected. They can be used for other snap rings but they work best on the Ford. I really don't like snap rings, but this did help a bit.

My husband needed a larger snap ring pliers for changing wheel bearing. This pliers is the idea size and works well. It makes removing larger snap rings an ease. They are sturdy and well worth the cost. The nice thing is, they lock and hold the snap ring.

It’s big so it can handle the big clips. It locks, so once you have got it, you should not have to worry about your hand slipping. I like it but would like it better if it had additional replaceable tips for different angles and hole sizes.

Marketing for these says, "Internal External." Not so - this is a snap ring plier for internal snap rings - not external. When you squeeze the handles on these the tips close - which facilitates the removal of an internal snap ring. For external snap rings pliers the tips open when you squeeze the handles. They are not 14 inches (as stated in the product banner) They are less than 11. They don't come with any extra or different size tips. I'm glad to have these they work well, and the ratcheting action is nice. Inaccurate marketing and the exclusion of a selection of tips leaves me, generously, rating this a three star snap ring plier. ~ Thanks for Reading - Have an Incredible Life! ~
