These are a good option for the home mechanic that needs a snap ring plier on the odd occasion and doesn't want to spend a fortune but I cannot recommend them for a pro shop. Its a good assortment of plier sizes but the build quality of the tools and the handle grips are a bit flimsy.

I have been using a single pair of high quality snap ring pliers for all my tasks. However, I often come across odd snap rings that my single pair of pliers cannot handle. In these cases I generally end up breaking or mangling the snap ring, and having to buy a new one. These looked like a good assortment of tools to solve that problem. I can honestly say that I have not had to destroy a snap ring since I got these. While they aren't super duper high quality, they are plenty strong for just about any situation. Also, they are inexpensive enough that I don't feel like I'm ruining my life If I modify them or break them. They are now my main snap ring pliers, and I keep my super crazy expensive set for special occasions.

I liked the quality and options of this set, however one was missing when I opened the package. How? I dont know. I was even willing to deal with that, if the one that was missing wasn't the one that I needed. It was a bit difficult to try to get them to send me only the one that was missing, but they gladly gave me a full as speedy refund. I was a bit hesitant to reorder the set, so I settled for a multi sized single pair from the local hardware store.I highly recommend these. Hopefully one pair won't be randomly missing.
