Works very well and wasn't difficult to install. They are a bit pricey, and although I found some for less on Ebay, I chose Amazon because they are so great to work with!

Our ice maker had started to do the start/stop thing over and over. I was constantly reseting the maker to get a couple rounds of ice. This replacement was truly a quick swap. Fixed our problem. After 3 months we're still going strong! Check your part numbers and make sure that you're getting the correct one. Very happy with this replacement.

I purchased this because the OEM ice maker quit working, it was replaced under warranty and then the replacement one stopped working. This all happened within 3 years.I purchased and installed this unit in June 2019. It worked great at first and now in August 2019 it is beginning to exhibit the same symptoms as the other two units. Not a very reliable experience with LG ice maker. The refrigerator/freezer is great.
