Yes, this freezer arm actually fit to repair my Amana frieg freezer for making ice but needed more than just the arm. But it’s a start !

This is an EXCELLENT PRODUCT. It is, however, pretty heavy gauge wire. It DID NOT FIT MY ICEMAKER, on my Kenmore side by side freezer. It is intended for a different model. I DID , however, purchase the 5038 Icemaker Arm. It IS SMALLER GUAGE WIRE. IT GOT MY ICEMAKER PERFECTLY. (Once the new fresh ends were put into place, which will be slightly more difficult on the front side of the ice maker because in your old one, that's what wears down that causes it to fall or come out easily. Once replaced, the 5038 worked perfectly, and for secure. I could not even get this one, the 4028, to insert. The giraffe circumference was just really to late. I have no complaints. I bought the wrong size. It is a very sturdy, well made product. Just be sure what you need. And good luck figuring out our. It's easier to buy both and return one, IMO, v than try to find that info in parts lists available on line. Your choice.

I bought this as a replacement for a warped arm in the freezer. Unfortunately, this one also warped and I can't get it to stay in place ... I would not recommend this product. Too flimsy

I had bought a non-OEM ice maker to replace the one in my Whirlpool fridge that stopped working. The only issue, is that the bar that came with that one was shorter than the original. I did not notice that until I had ice filling up my freezer (that was a mess). This part is the right size, and has my ice maker working again without the concern of an ice avalanche in my freezer.

Have a Maytag side by side refridgerator that has an ice maker in the freezer side. When we pulled out the ice bin, it got caught on the arm and now it doen't stay in place all the time. This replacement arm was the right size and really easy to install. Now we don't need to worry about it falling out

As you can see in one of the photos that show the new shut off arm and my old one, there is quite a difference between the two. Someone in my household took it upon themselves to try and adjust the ice level in the freezer. All they succeeded in doing it to bend up the shut off arm and actually made the level too low instead of higher.I installed the new shut off arm today on the icemaker in my side-by-side Whirlpool refrigerator. That was this morning. This evening, the ice level is up to where it is supposed to be and no issues whatsoever.Great part at a great price if you need it because the freezer bandit raided your refrigerator and played contortionist with your icemaker shut off arm.
