It fits and gets hot. The installation video was helpful. TBD is this fixes the problem, but fingers crossed.

I am SO HAPPY with this purchase!! Easy to install and the fan has not iced up and stopped working or made noise since. Worth every penny! Shame on Samsung for not correcting this issue themselves!

Installed this six months ago. No more icing up. Be sure to force fridge into defrost before putting cover back on to be sure proper connection is made and that it is heating. Easy install.

My fridge was making a loud sound , my husband ordered this part , it was a bit of pain to change it up but he did it and it works like new .

I've been fighting this over freezing of the fridge for YEARS on my samsung refrigerator. Tried all the defrosting, and replacing and pulling apart, a dozen+ times. I found this browsing a forum and decided to give it a try. Once looking at how it installs, it makes perfect sense why all Samsung fridges have this issue, its a poor design and the factory defrost coil is not positioned right to avoid freezing. This add on was a simple installation and after a week, so far so good! My food and drinks are actually cold again! We'll see how the next few months go.

I just installed this so I can't say how it works. For now this is just a review of the installation process.The video that came up after scanning the code was very easy to follow. The only trouble I had was that I have alligator arms so reaching into the back, supporting myself and handling the pliers was difficult for me. It's a short person's problem. 😆I suggest having someone with longer arms help.Besides that, the installation went smoothly. Hopefully it solves the problem of the ice buildup.

Refrigerator was freezing every week or so. Put this on and froze up the next day! Less than 24 hours and have to turn it off and defrost again. Don't waste your money. Get an aftermarket drain heater.
