I am really, really glad to have found this replacement ice bin!We were stunned to find that our OEM one cracked and dropped ice everywhere. We looked online for a replacement and they were super expensive and backorder.So, we came across this one and it is phenomenal! Easy swap of parts if you are patient and it feels more substantial than the old one.Now, our fridge is quiet again and we don't have the grinding sounds!

I waited to write a review because I wanted to make sure this was as good as the OEM part. It is actually better than the OEM part and cost about 1/10th the price that whirlpool charges. delivery was fast and its a perfect fit. I am not an appliance tech but I know how to fix things. The complete repair took less than 20 minutes including the time to unbox the new part and throw out the old. Anyone that can operate a screwdriver can do this. Very happy!
