Used these to connect 1/2-in transparent plastic hose to the rear of my Midas Duo A/C drain holes.The supplied metal screw clamps formed a really good seal and stopped the hoses from detaching when forces are exerted on the tubes.

To small for regular garden hose

Installed easily in coiled hose with 3/8" id but hose clamps were too big for hose od (minus 1 star). Used heavy snap ties instead of hose clamp and will see how it holds up. Swivel hose bib connection works well but pushes the washer out when you disconnect if you aren't careful. I used a short spring hose connector to protect the hose from kinking and then I don't have to disconnect the new hose connector every time and chance losing the washer.
