How to fix the end of a garden hose:
Step 1.
Using a utility knife to cut cleanly through the hose. You can simply cut off the broken part or cut the hose to any length you want.
Step 2.
If there is, add some lubricant to the new male hose connector, and then push it into the cut end of the hose.
Step 3.
Using a screwdriver to attach the hose clamp securely around the end of the hose.
Step 4.
Done. Your newly repaired garden hose is ready for use.

I had a hose that's end was cut off and bought these to fix it and other hoses whose ends were crimped or hard to screw onto tap. These worked like a charm. What a great and unique fix for hoses that still can be used instead of throwing them away. These were easy to put onto the hoses and work great. Would definitely recommend these, a purchase worth every penny

I made some shorter hoses for specific areas of the house and our motor home. Also replaced some old ends some hoses that getting hard screw on and off these are solid quality and have worked very smooth when used them in the past too and are still working. And can r and r easily too !

My flexzilla 5/8 hose blew its end off, and I didn't want to buy an entirely new hose. This was a good repair item.The threads are very sharp at the base, be careful. Cut myself good.Didn't come with instructions but just search YouTube.

Fittings work well where a hose fitting was mashed & needs to be replaced. These screw-clamps have been water-tight for a solid 6 months so far, more than match the quality of a crimped hose fitting.Much better quality than the flimsy rolled sheetmetal hose fittings you get with basic hoses at Lowes, it makes a good upgrade for cheap hoses. The clamps are rounded enough that I haven't had a problem with them catching on stuff when dragging a hose through the yard.

I purchased these to mend some 5/8" hoses based on the product description which says that these work for both 5/8" or 3/4" hoses. I tried them on several different 5/8" hoses (each a different brand) that I have which needed to be repaired and the 3/4" metal inserts I received with this product did *not* fit in any of the 5/8" hoses that I have.I had previously purchased some 5/8" hose repair parts that use a metal ring clamp but some of them were leaking regardless of how much I tightened the metal ring clamps. I kept the 5/8" insert I had purchased before but discarded the metal ring clamps that came with them which were letting the hose leak and instead used the screw on fitting I received with this product to secure the fitting. That worked and my hoses stopped leaking. The metal clamps included with this product work better than the metal ring clamps sold with many of the other hose mending kits.This seems to be a good product and I think it would work great on a 3/4" hose that needs to be mended. If you have a 5/8" hose that needs to be mended then look for something else, or purchase this plus an additional 5/8" repair part which includes a 5/8" metal hose insert not a 3/4" metal hose insert.If this company sold a 5/8" hose repair kit that would be the ideal solution as the outside clamp part works great. However, inserting a 3/4" insert into a 5/8" hose does not work, at least with any of the brands of 5/8" hoses that I have purchased.

Great product. Very easy to install. I suggest heating your hose end a bit to soften it - makes it easier to insert attachment. The best - very strong , look nice and no leaks
