Proper Assembly Order
- Insert the PEX barb into garden hose nut until it fully seats at the bottom of the nut.
- Insert the rubber washer until it contacts the back sealing surface of the garden hose PEX barb
Fitting must be assembled in this order or it will leak. The rubber washer is meant to seal the PEX barb to a male garden hose.
Fully assemble fitting before inserting it into PEX tubing.

A nice brass fitting for that special situation. Have to be careful when using it, it is in two separate pieces, the stiffness of the PEX , you have to use care when attaching it to the faucet.

No leaks, so far seems high quality. Used it to run pex underground to my camper in the back yard. Before I found this I was using 3 different adapters coming off the spigot and most of them leaked.
