I tossed the plastic ones once I used these. Dependable, easy to install, seal with the washer and the fact they are brass is superior material and will last forever.

I wanted to set up a misting system for my horses but the raindrop connector to my spigot leaked more than it misted. Decided to try this connector and it worked beautifully- no leaks! Solid connection and withstood the pressure of a barn spigot!

These fittings are solid brass and very well-made and did the job as described.I would recommend this product to anybody. It did screw right onto my quarter inch plastic hose.

I live in an apartment and I wanted a non invasive way of hooking up my RO system. This item made that possible and was cheap and easy. I used this to hook up my RO system to my washer hookup. Run the waste water tube down the washer waste drain with a ziptie. Just ran a Y splitter on the main hookup. I do turn off the side my RO system is hooked up when the washer is running. Should be fine but I don't like risking things like that.

We bought an ice machine and wanted to put it on our back porch. WE had to figure out how to get from our back porch hose hookup to the in-line filter going into our ice machine. This was perfect for that. The connection is very secure and very easy to attach. This would also work to convert down to the 1/4" irrigation lines for gardens.

Fits hose well but leaks at 1/4 inch drip line connection, unless a sufficient amount of Teflon tape is applied before tightening the small nut.

I used 2 of the 3 fittings to install a water supply to an outdoor water fountain. I needed one end to fit a standard hose bib and the other I used with an adapter to fit on a 1/2" float, so the water cuts off before the fountain reservoir overflows. The fittings came with gaskets and worked perfectly with the 1/4" garden irrigation tubing I had leftover. No leaks, hand-tightened. As the water comes from a rain barrel (gravity feed, down the hill) to the fountain, I used a simple filter in the hose bib end to make sure the water line doesn't get clogged. Standard sizes made the little project complete without a hitch.

Makes a nice solid connection, which is MUCH better than the plastic adapters that come with irrigation sets. I had to take a star off because the rubber washers are too small and “float around” easily when you are tightening it down. The washer shifts out of place and you lose seal. After trying several times to get it just right I replaced the washer. The manufacturer needs to use better washers!
