Used it right out of the box for an on location photo shoot that would have been difficult with a stand. It was exactly what I needed. It will be a game changer.

Haven't used yet. Expected a little heavier design, but I'm sure it will work fine.

This seems fine for most applications, however one reason I purchased it was to travel light and use my Lastolite triple fold umbrella however the shaft of that is slightly larger than the hole in the handle for the umbrella. I carefully disassembled the handle, removed the spring in the hole that holds the umbrella, reassembled the handle and enlarged the hole with a drill bit that is slightly larger than the original hole. It didn't take much, maybe 1/32" larger and the umbrella shaft now fits. I put the spring back in after to keep the umbrella from slipping in the handle. Now I have a very portable lighting setup with my AD100 Pro or AD 200 Pro for a light source.
