Purchased this pretty much as soon as it came out - seemed like a great addition and reviews were super positive. Loved that it was compatible with my RS 4 Pro however.. as many of us shoot Canon R5C, as we all know, the R5C is not Bluetooth compatible on the gimbal therefore a USBC cable is required to operate the camera via gimbal - the same USBC slot that the DJI tracking module plugs into. Tried adding a USBC splitter to it as well, no dice so unfortunately if using the RS4 Pro with a Canon R5C, this is sadly worthless and now basically becomes an ultra-light paper weight. A little surprised that DJI didn’t consider this in the design.

This is my first gimbal and all I can say is wow! DJI makes very high quality products and this is no different. The auto locking feature is a game changer and the battery life is phenomenal. I use a Sony mirrorless camera with a Tamron 28-75mm and the RS4 Mini will balance so quickly and easily. Connecting to the app is very straightforward and it allows you to adjust all features on the gimbal. If this came with a case for a few extra $$ I would have been happy to pay for that, but it is a brand new product and that might be something in development. Excellent product, DJI!

amazing product that gets the perfect shot. It can make your basic shots into professional shots with the simple walking gestures. DJI really knows how to make a great and sturdy gimbal plus the facial recognition tracking is just stellar.

Update:Honestly the more I use this the more I realize it was not built properlySo today I learned that you cannot use the Bluetooth functionality and the wired functionality at the same time.Which means you can connect it to your camera via the cable and control the focus ISO aperture but you cannot control the zoom because that only works via the Bluetooth functionalityAnd they cannot be used at the same time.Such a waste of good technologyPrevious review:Started off with a really bad experience* it shook the entire time moving left or right with the joystick (even with being perfectly balanced)* calibration didn't work after many tries failed every time* the update process took 2 tries because the app fully crashed during the first try* dji forces you to log in and give them so many permissions just to use it after 5 trys which includes turning it off/ which i had to do because out of the box it wasn't working properly at allCons:* the screen doesn't always work when you try to swipe and the UI is definitely not beginner user friendly* too many steps to be able to make basic changes/ especially changes to the joysticks movement ie slowing it down/ far too many steps you have to take within their menu by swiping down picking the part that you need to use and then making your adjustmentsShould have been on the first screen as that's one of the most important partsF- after you go through and make all of your adjustments as soon as you turn it off they're all gone you have to start over from scratch every time you turn it on* the locking motors is one of the best features I've ever seen on a gimbal don't get me wrong but it takes too long to turn back on* no way to track non human subjects/ there is no camera app that gives you Ai tracking functionality like other much cheaper brands* no phone mount came with the over $500 gimbal* no case came with it*screw to hold phone is Extremely short*dial wheel is way to small made for tiny fingers/ hard to use it smoothly with larger fingersHonestly for the price you pay they should have included a case and the phone mount they are always included with cheaper gimbal brands they give you them for even $150 gimbals.. very disappointingThat combined with all the out of the box issuesDefinitely not a good start or a good company first impression so far...I will update my review after I get a chance to try it againUpdate:Honestly it's not a bad gimbal and its ability to perform the motions properly, but the overall thought process of the UI screen layout and the basic functions being hid in different menus that don't always work especially when you need them to considering the touch screen is not flawless.That combined with the fact that it doesn't have a dedicated AI camera app that you can use that gives you abilities with the AI tracking module and access to the settings so that you can work it properly in the first place, like every other brand out there including the much much cheaper onesJust shows that DJI cares about your money but not about giving you what you're paying for.Just the basics they can get away with.Honestly overall I'm very disappointed..I would not recommend purchasing from Dji

I absolutely love this gimbal, I just wish DJI would make the app for it just as good. Auto lock feature is game changing...seriously. I can never go back to not having that feature. Calibrating is fairly simple. I did notice some micro jitters are common with the RS3 vs the 4 even on a well balanced load. The only reason this product is loosing a star is because of the app to connect to the gimbal could use a lot of work.

dJI makes some of the best gear in the industry. This is the first gimbal that I enjoy using. It has a very clean look. It has the auto lock feature when it turns off. It’s really easy to balance. The images stay smooth and has a lot of app supported features. It’s even cheaper now that the newer model is out. This is a high performing gimbal.

Bra produkt men jag har svårt att balansera rätt. Jag har suttit många timmar, följt youtube tutorials men får det aldrig så "perfekt" som man vill ha det, kan dock bero på att mitt objektiv är 24-70mm zoom. Men funkar ändå bra och gör sitt jobb. Extremt skönt att den låser axlarna och man inte behöver balansera om gång efter gång.

Mit der Black Magic 6 K ist der Gimbal schon an sein Maximum angelangt.Das Austarieren der Kamera gestaltet Sich je nach genutzten Objektiv problematisch.Auch die Nutzung von Zubehör wie externe SSD Festplatte oder Powerbank wurde dem Einfallsreichtum der Kunden oder meist externen Anbietern überlassen . Ich löste dies mit billigen Handyhaltern die bei mir noch so rumlagen.Der Gimbal muß bei Ronin angemeldet werden um die App zu nutzen.Das könnte bei einem Handywechsel Probleme bereiten .Welche Mail habe ich benutzt , Passwort Irgendwie hatte ich da schon einmal ein Problem und konnte den Gimbal nicht nutzen.Irgend wie ging es später wieder 🤔Ansonsten sauber verarbeitet und auch der interne Akku macht noch keine Probleme.Ansonsten hat man aber Spaß mit diesem Teil 😜

Firstly, I have to say, "Wow!" This gimbal is seriously impressive. The functionality it offers is absolutely mind-blowing. The features and integrated technology it boasts completely blew me away. It's so easy to use and balance, making it an absolute must-have for any videographer or creator out there. I was able to effortlessly balance my Sony A7IV with a Sigma 24-70 lens without any issues. The motors handled it like a champ, no matter the angle I shot at.I personally loved the portrait shooting mode and the 360-degree roll features. They added such a cool/unique touch to my footage. And the fact that I could attach the focus/zoom motor to the lens using the gimbal made it super convenient whenever I needed to adjust my focus or zoom. Honestly, I can't recommend this enough, whether you're just starting out or a seasoned professional. It offers a ton of functionality and capabilities that will benefit anyone in the world of videography.

Strong and easy to use!

Makine çok güzel ancak kutusundan taşıma çantası çıkmıyor. Cihazı muhafaza etmek zor. Bu modele göre ayrıca çanta da satılmıyor. Combo paketinde focus motoru, tutma kolu gibi aksesuarlar olabilir ama taşıma çantasının combo seçeneğine özel yapılması çok yanlış bir strateji olmuş. Kutu içeriğinde olmadığını bilseydim alırken 2 kere düşünürdüm.
