My old stabilizer broke during my Vegas trip. That really sucked but this little gem came to the rescue. It is pretty straightforward: device screws onto the top. Seems pretty solid and I hope it works out in the future.

This handle does exactly what it claims - to provide a way to have stabilization of my cameras or any gear that uses a 1/4” threaded screw. Even might night vision binoculars can use this - and is probably what I use it with the most.It is very light weight. Yet it holds the weight of my Canon DSLR with no issues. Easy to throw in my camera bag without adding a lot of weight. That is important because I won’t use this if I don’t have it with me.It screws on quickly and the turns style knob is helpful to get this to tighten how you want it.I love that they made use of the space in the handle for two different style wrenches used to tighten a number of different parts for tripods or cameras. The Allen wrench is easy to get out but the round one is impossible without a pair of pliers. There is just no room to get a grip on it. Good idea but that isn’t well executed.Overall, I like this grip and use it more than I thought. Again, being lightweight, it is easy to keep in my camera bag.

I have a small Samsung camcorder that I felt was too small in my hands for comfortable use and thought a nice handle would make it easier to use. This handle was provided to me to use for a fair and unbiased opinion of the product. I found that the handle is very well made and has nice weight and feel to it. The handle is easy to attach to the camera using the screw at the top of handle to screw into the bottom of the camcorder. There is a nice adjustment wheel at the top of the handle to tighten the handle to the camera. With the handle attached, I feel that I have good motion control of the camcorder and can make adjustments to the camcorder easily without touching the wrong buttons by accident. There is also a standard size screw opening into the bottom of the handle so you can attach the handle with camcorder to a tripod if you want to do that for more stability or being able to get into the scene you are recording yourself. My honest unbiased opinion of this handle is that it is a useful well made product that is easy and comfortable to use and sells for a very reasonable price.

I got this on a whim but it turned out to be very, very helpful. It has the recessed female thread at the bottom and the top has the captured screw male. The grip technically has can be interchanged and turned around but I found it very difficult to pull out. But also I like the grip pattern it ships with using finger grooves. I've used this to attach a GoPro light mounts, various things on top and bottom. Really, it's just a great way to get your hand off of your recording device

You may think this review is a bit harsh but there is a flaw that is unacceptable for photography/videography accessories. The grip itself is excellent, fits perfectly in my hand, and is well cushioned. The top 1/4" screw worked with a variety of mounts and mini ball heads I tried. The big issue is with the bottom 1/4" insert, IT IS NOT 1/4"-20, and thus no accessory can attach to the bottom properly. Even a small tripod as shown in their product photos will not screw in properly. How did this pass their QC? I loved the grip itself but this flaw ruined the whole product for me. I ordered a second thinking it might be an isolated issue but the same issue was present with the replacement. If you only need a grip you might appreciate this product more than I.
