Très bon produit qui empreinte bien le R6MKIIavec son grip. Bien aussi le bloc câbles sur le côté qui est amovible. Attention un petit bémol tout de même l'accessibilité au commutateur d'allumage de l'appareil est rendu difficile par le châssis passant juste au dessus ne laissant que peu d'espace pour les doigts. Moi j'utilise mon petit doigt pour allumer le boîtier. Bien l'outil aimanté sous le plateau.

Yes you heard me right. I have been looking for a cage to fit my Canon Eos R with the battery grip and it is working great. All three points to hold it in place. So the1st point, next to the on/off switch, needs to be filpped upside down, cut a very small piece so itcan fit into the mount on camera and the other one by the mode dial just need a little bit shaved off and it slides right in perfect. The bottom screw fits in place just like it should.

This is my first cage, so I don't have much basis for comparison...but I like this cage. It was cheaper than the other one I found and leaves virtually all buttons and compartments accessible. It also give a bit of added protection from bumps and such. Very sturdy once installed and comes with a tool to do so, conveniently fitted to the bottom of the rig. Would absolutely recommend

I purchased this for my Canon R6 when I also purchased the battery extension. It installed easily with a few twists of the included tool.I was quite pleased, until I tried to attach my speedlite, the Canon 600ex-rt, and found that due to the placement of top of the cage, the flash would not fit. So be aware if you use a speedlite on your camera.

Works very well on the R5 with battery grip as advertised, a customer mentioned in review that with mount mods will work on EOS R with battery grip. I could not make those mods work and unit twisted. Also tried on the new R5mk II, won’t fit /hits new flash shoe mount.Still very pleased that it fits and works great on what it was designed for EOS R5; solid no twisting, five stars *****

Very sturdy, well made. Makes it somewhat challenging to turn the camera on and off, and that's a plus since I've accidentally turned my camera off while recording before. Works great with monitor arms, v-mount accessories and shotgun mics. The cornerstone of a very reliable rig that I've built.

This Camera Cage arrives in a plain brown, Neewer branded cardboard box. It is designed to be compatible with Canon EOS R5, R5 C, R6, R6 II cameras with the BG-R10 Battery Grip attached.The cage itself is well made and has a good finish throughout. Made of aluminium alloy, it is both strong and durable whilst remaining relatively lightweight. The CNC machining is impressive throughout, and the cage fits like a glove. The design is such that it doesn’t interfere with the functioning of the camera, or the battery grip. Both the battery compartment and the LCD screen are fully usable with the cage installed.The cage attaches to the camera through 3 points of contact (the tripod socket and the two shoulders). This not only holds the cage in place securely, but also prevents the cage from twisting. Resulting in a very solid platform onto which you can attach various other pieces of equipment. There are various 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 sockets (some with ARRI locating holes), as well as a cold shoe mount for attaching your equipment to the cage.The base of the cage is designed to be Arca_Swiss compatible, allowing you to attach your camera directly to an Arca-Swiss compatible mount without the need of a QR Plate. The base also has a socket layout that is compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, and RS 3 Pro gimbal stabilizers.The detachable HDMI Clamp does a good job of securing you HDMI and/or USB cables in place.Rather handily, there is a 2-in-1 screwdriver/hex key that slots into the base of the cage and is held in place by magnets. Not only is this used for attaching the cage to the camera, but can also often be used to attach equipment to the cage.In conclusion, this is a very well made, robust, but light weight camera cage, that proved to be a great base onto which to attach equipment to my camera. In use it worked really well and didn’t interfere with the controls or functioning of the camera, nor the functionality of the battery grip. At first I thought it didn’t fit and some hook was blocking it from going in but, then realized that it goes in at an angle and the hook actually gives perfect fit and secures the cage better.
