This laser bore sight is a nice item to have for sighting. Loaded in the chamber like a round it helps get your accuracy much closer without expending expensive ammunition. It is a little bit cumbersome and batter life is a little on the short side, however no problems thus far. Comes with a little metal case and was very nice. Pistol sighting was very quick with this item

Definitely not 100 percent accurate but knowing the ballpark area to aim and adjust lpvo to zero at 100 yards, wish I had this 4 boxes of ammo ago. Much improved rounds on target and actually able to zero alot more easier. Btw in that same thought learning how to properly mount a scope with a plumb bob weight and bipod , even a cheap one for level helped tons. FYI for any new shooters out there. Oh and the magnet feature works amazingly, easier to retrieve and also easier to stack the batteries facing the correct way .

Very happy with this product. I had purchased a previous laser bore sight from another manufacturer and it didn’t work with my Shield pistol because the bore sight interfered with the extractor when you carefully moved the slide towards battery. I didn’t want to slam release the slide for fear of damaging the extractor. This bore sight has the extractor rim removed from the end cap, so the extractor has plenty of clearance. The bore sight also has a magnet in the end cap which makes removal very easy. I’m hoping this company releases a 40 cal version in the near future.

I have the 9mm version of the laser bore sight. The magnet on the rear of the case works as advertised as it does a great job of keeping the device centered in the firing chamber. The 9mm device uses 2 L736F (LR41 or AG3 equiv) button cells. Some may not recognize the L736F designation but the equivalents LR41 and AG3 are more likely recognized as they are used in toys, pocket mini-flashlights, etc. Unlike the .223 laser bore sight, the 9mm device only requires 2 cells. Six cells come in the package resembling a mini-Altoids tin.I tested the bore sight using two of my pistols with sights that have previously been adjusted. The laser dot spot was on. The dot is bright and stayed centered even after I successively struck the gun barrels on the top, bottom, and sides using my free hand. The bore sight was easily removed after completely pulling back on the slide until it locked. The device's strong magnet adheres to the bolt face.The bore sight has a very smooth finish and is properly sized to fit the firing chamber. Overall, I am very impressed with the performance of this device.
