I just opened the box so I have not been able to test it yet. It is well made. The green laser is bright and puts a sharp spot on the wall. I am looking forward to testing it with a firearm.

This is just a huge bonus at the range! Helps to zero in without burning through expensive ammo! Of course you’ll still have to shoot to become competent but with this incredible asset you’re ahead of the game!! Highly recommend!

Have sighted in 3 scopes since receiving the bore sight kit, on 3 different caliber rifles, and all have been within 3 inches on initial shot.

When I first looked at the sparse instructions, I thought no way this would work. It has 32 bore adapters to fit pretty much the whole gamut of barrel sizes, but in order to do this, there is a range on each. Understanding now how this works, I actually think this is an pretty ingenious idea. You find the adapter that works with your barrel, screw it into the laser tip loosely, and check for fit. If you need it tighter, screw it down a little more, which expands the adapter to fit. If you need it looser, loosen it a little bit or go to the next size down. In my case with a 22, I needed to use the size smaller than what they said, and I was not able to use the screwdriver because I was able to get it the correct size without using it.The downside and potential difficulty with this kit is that, while the photos in the advertisement show exactly what you receive, neither one shows what the diagram depicts in the instructions. The instructions show sizes increasing from left to right, and from bottom to top. What you actually receive is from right to left and bottom to top. All you have to do to correct the inversion is to simply flip the foam holding the adapters over from side to side. Another problem is that while you will receive four rows of 8 adapters per row, the illustration shows three rows of 10, which of course gives you 30, not 32 adapters. Between that and the fact that you may well have to use a size different from what is listed from what you have, you will probably need to end up doing what I did - start with what is recommended, and work your way down from there. If you have a bunch of guns, this could be a serious hassle. For me, it's really no big deal, and I can always mark what I actually used so that this is not a big problem in the future.On my wish list for this would be having a green laser versus red. At around 6:00 p.m. in Virginia at the end of August, I actually found it difficult if not impossible to find the dot on most objects outside. Part of this is because, as you would assume for any laser, it has a very limited spread and thus a small dot even at a distance. I did find that the most reflective objects including white paper made a difference, so if your target is on white paper, you're probably okay. However, especially if you are trying to sight at some distance, it might be tough even doing that. For this reason, I would not mind spending just a little more if necessary to get a green laser, which I believe shows up better even in brighter light conditions, and also may give you the ability follow the beam to the end.One star deducted for the lack of attention regarding the adapter layout in the instructions versus what you actually receive. Despite this, this is very handy I believe, and should get you on track to making final adjustments on your gun or scope.

Quality is adequate for this price range.Bore sighters are for rough, initial 'on paper' targeting, followed by finer adjustments firing live rounds. For this purpose, this set is adequate.Instructions are barely decipherable.Some adapters don't fit snugly in the barrel.Nice case, batteries included, good assortment of adapters.If budget is limited, this set will do but you'll have more fine tuning required than with better quality boresight tools.Neutral recommendation.
