laid it on the desk and tested it to make sure it don't move up and down. nope was dead on perfect. wish it had adapter to fit into my pellet rifle :) gives me a idea for a part to make.

Used it to laser-boresight my crossbow, didn't realize until afterward it isn't straight. Rolled it across the kitchen counter and the laser spot did loops on the wall. Only way I was able to use it was strip fletchings off a bolt and then roll it around in the sled until I was able to pull the scope to the point the circle the boresighter was tracing on the wall was concentric inside the scope reticle. Got me close enough to zero the scope w/in 9 bolts. Then threw this in the trash. It's a POS. Don't waste your $$ on it.

Seems to work at shorter distances. Hard to see the laser at longer distance, may have been lighting.

This is a fantastic idea to save some time and shots getting on target. IT IS NOT DESIGNED TO BE DEAD ON CENTER!!! The purpose of a bore sight for any weapon (rifle, handgun, or X-bow) is to get you on the target at a relatively close distance. 25-50 yards with a rifle, 10-20 with a crossbow. So please don't listen to the people who act like inches off at 30 yards is bad! Those folks don't understand how bore sighting works. If you are hitting a 2'x2' target at all at 20 yards then you have successfully used your boresight. From there you tune. Then move back to 30 and find where it's shooting (no laser needed). This is not designed to be dead center over and over at different yardage, and if you think it is you should probably take up another hobby. And 1 more thing instead of taking the batteries out, just flip the last one so it's in backwards and it will store just fine. Not trying to be a smarta$$ but these negative reviews are comical

I was having difficulty sighting in my new MAST3Y Scope (the scope that came w/ my ReVengeance it was always needing adjusting), This well made light does just what it is supposed to do, I was amazed to find that the difference between my 125 grain field points and my 100 grain was so far apart even w/ 350 FPS w/ the GT Nitro (the 100 grain shoots 24" lower at 40 yards, 21" at 20 yards) I know this light shows a straight line and I was happy to see how close the 100 grain were in reference to the "Red Dot", I still find the brand of bolt makes a HUGE difference (I made a dozen 22" GT Nitro w/ 25 grains added w/ GT F.A.C.T. system, compared w/BEE's & "Zombie Slayers" this light is a HUGE Help) from POA to actual POI is a difference of 40" w/ the Nitro's (they are 40" lower @ 60 yards, the BEE's are 12" @ 60 yards, Zombie Slayers are 8" lower @ 60 yards) I highly Recommend this light to anyone who wants to cut down on the "Guesswork" in sighting in your Crossbow, I will say this light is the biggest help in sighting in my Barnett ReVengeance (reverse limb, 18" power stroke) DO buy extra Batteries, even with removing them, they are small and don't last but 20-30 minutes (I was checking each shot with differant bolts and field points ) Thanks Amazon for stocking such a helpful item, and Thanks to all who take the time to review the items we have questions about
