Worked well and for the price you can’t go wrong. The bore adapters could have been tighter. Very easy to use!

I purchased one similar to this one but this one has an on and off button. I like that. Mine was missing the hmr rifle piece. I have used it to get on paper at 45 yards. I could barely see the red dot. But for the price I’m good.

Had to return because of a mussel silencer that is built into the barrel of the gun and wouldn’t allow for the use of the laser.

The instructions could be a bit easier to understand but good enough. Mainly the distance from the bullseye to the crosshair placement of the scope. Those measurements are not accurate to scale. Should also update the number and size ranges for the adapters to reflect what you actually get and label them in the box lid (under the foam?). Cannot evaluate the accuracy without range testing yet.

I got this to site in the scope of pellet rifle. It fit perfectly, with the right adapter. This came with everything needed. Including screwdriver and hex key. Worked flawlessly. It had the scope zeroed in within minutes. The case is great for storage and the foam fit interior keeps everything in its place.

...but it can be made to work a little more efficiently. I experimented with this bore sighter in my 20 ga single shot. It wobbled in the bore. But it is tapered at the end that rests on the muzzle, so a piece of tape wrapped around the sight and also touching the barrel can hold the sighter a bit steadier. Don't try to shim the sighter with tape because the tape is soft and will be uneven. I had to hold the sighter tight in the bore to make sure it was pressed in evenly, and then applied the tape. It seems to be a bit steadier and stays on the spot on the target better. Other than that, it is a nice inexpensive sighting tool and should get you on paper without having to fire off 20 bucks' worth of ammo to get zeroed in. I recommend it...but only if you will experiment with it while you look for little idiosyncrasies that make it a good tool rather than just a gimmick.

First thing was that there were 3 unpackaged batteries in the foam that nicely holds the various parts of the device. After inserting the 3 unpackaged batteries and turning on the laser, I got a VERY faint red glow - it did not project on a nearby wall. Figuring the batteries were bad I installed the other 3 packaged batteries, and I got a bright laser projection on a blank wall about 16 feet away. Before installing the device in my rifle I looked closely at the device and found that the laser was off center (by physically looking at it from the front end) and I didn't see how this would work being physically off center. However, I then installed the device in my .22 cal rifle and it fit nicely after a few adjustments of the adapter's diameter. I then projected the laser on a blank white wall 16 feet away and rotated the device while snug in my barrel. The laser projection made a circle about 18 inches in diameter on the wall. I tried it several times after adjusting the adapter to make sure it was snug in the bore and got the same result every time.Obviously this was not going to sight in my bore because the laser would be 9 inches away from center of the rifle bore location in any direction depending on what orientation the device was inserted in the bore!I may have got a bad one. however, I did receive a device that did not work as advertised and unuseable. I returned the device for a refund. I'll probably just go to a gunsmith and have my 22 rifle bore sighted without the hassle.
