I liked it! It made zeroing in my laser and Holo sight easy. Perfect fit for .223 and 5.56 barrels. Just remember to remove the batteries after use, because there is no on/off switch.

The product works great. The bore site let's you adjust your set your sights dead center. The only downside to it is when you put the batteries in it comes on before you even get a chance to put the back on. Then when trying remove all the batteries on get stuck. So when you bang the bottom to get then out. One always goes flying and there tiny. So good luck finding them.

Simply put I did NOT expect this to be as good as it is.The laser is very bright and I tried the 'seating issue' to see how accurate it is. *Some users have complained that it does not seat in the barrel properly and is not that accurate, after setting the site I reloaded it in the barrel multiple times, even turning it, and it was dead on every time.Brightness is surprising. I had no problem using an umbrella over the target to add enough shade to see this thing in direct sunlight, about 33 meters (100 ft).The only drawback I can find, and that is looking for one, is that there is no on/off switch to it. I don't see that as a problem though because leaving the batteries in it wouldn't be that smart IMHO.

Just as expected as with the other Pinty products I have bought in the past, I was sceptical at first because it was so cheap, so I thought cheap made and inaccurate, but boy was I wrong, the Pinty Red laser is dead on accurate. battery life is okay it hasn't died yet and I havent used the secon set of batteries yet, I sighted in 3 different 5.56 rifles with it, as well as taking my time to do so, good and bright out to25-75yrds which is where I used it, do not know if it went any further didn't try. pretty durable I accidentally slammed the bolt of my Hawk Creek Armory CT-15 AR-15 into the back of it didn't even scratch it, ejected and flew out like normal, shell bounced couple times on dirt and concrete, and still worked accurate. hope this helps you decide, I think it is an awesome bore laser bore sight well worth the money, as comparable to higher priced name brands. I would recommend this to anybody who wants a good accurate red laser bore sight.

Tested the laser and it was straight so no issues there i had just bought a new AR and have been switching sights out so i got about 3 good uses out this before it quit working properly. You have to have batteries in it just so which can only happen in your hand so no bueno getting it to stay on when putting into the chamber. Will say i lined up my 45 degree offset iron sights on my bedroom wall 10 feet away and brought out to the range and 1st shot i was damn near on believe it or not. Good bright laser but inner components fail too easily

Works as intended, batteries should be removed when not in use.

Mine worked just fine right out of the package. Bright narrow spot, concentric with the bore of the barrel. I tried it outside on a cloudy day and could see the spot out past 35 yards WITHOUT the scope. It's well made and works as designed. It quite simple to take off the back to turn off. A switch would make it unnecessarily complex & less reliable. To all those giving it poor reviews because it fades out quickly: GET NEW BATTERIES. At this price, you get an item that does well just what it was designed to do & a few cheep batteries are not a big deal. And if you need instructions on how to use it, you shouldn't be fooling with firearms anyway. PS. I DIDN'T receive this for free - I paid full price, and this ain't no bogus shill review.
