First off the said battery included, but it takes 3 batteries and only had 2 in the box. So after I went to the store to buy extra battery it don’t work. Changed out all 3 batteries and still don’t work. BIG WASTE OF MONEY. DON’T BUY IT.

Won't work with single action Rugers. It will work with S&W double actions but not with either a Colt or Ruger single action. The base is too wide to allow the cylinder to rotate into the shooting position.

I received the boresight a day earlier which really worked our perfect. I removed the paper between the battery, screwed the cap back on, laser lit up and sighted in my rifle. I rolled the boresight along the table to check the accuracy and it was spot on, attached and adjusted my Red Dot and I was ready to shoot. Very easy setup, quality brass product. Great Product...!I would buy another .

It’s built quite well but the batteries are accessed thru the back via a screw on case head. It was slightly thicker about .010” so it would not work in my revolver until I removed a little material off the end. The only real problem I had was the batteries lasted about 10 minutes I did not check to see how old or how much charge they still had when I received it. The batteries are tiny so it could be they are just not up to sustaining constant use for more than 15 or 20 minutes regardless but I’ll buy some new ones and test it again soon.

This bore sighter is of good quality. The dot projected is round and shows no distortion, unlike some others I've used. It fits the chamber of my 45-70 good. Regarding accuracy, I haven't gotten that far yet.

Used the laser bore sight to perform an initial sight-in of my new Henry All-Weather .45 Colt rifle after mounting a new scope. The bore sight came with extra batteries, which was a nice touch. Can't comment on the battery life because I have only owned it for a few days.

This was one of the only, not to mention affordable, 45 Colt laser bore sights that I could find on the market for my Taurus Judge Public Defender Poly revolver. I was able to adjust my rear sights and learn more about my revolver's aiming characteristics without wasting ammunition at a distracting local shooting range. I didn't have any problems with its function with exception that the included batteries died within the first minute of operation. I replaced them with comparable Energizer 392/384 button cells and all was well.
