Your cart is empty. Instructions:
1. Assemble the battery into the laser boresighter.
2. Select the proper adapter that fits in the barrel of your firearm.
3. Assemble the adapter on the small end of the laser boresighter, then screw the adapter tight to make sure the adapter will be hold well.
4. Push the small end of the boresighter with the adapter into the barrel of your firearm. Make sure the boresighter is inserted in untill it is sung with the crown of your firearm.
5. When you turn the laser on, a small red/green laser dot will be emitted. And then you can adjust your scope’s windage and elevation so that your crosshair aims at the red/green dot.
Warning:
Keep boresight laser beam away from eyes.
Before boresighting your scope, make sure that the firearm is unloaded and the muzzle is pointed in a safe direction.
After the firearms is boresighted, make sure to remove the boresighter and adapter from the firearm.

My old set of guides in the sizes that I use broke or wore out. I was linked to purchase these upgraded guides by the seller and they are just what I was looking for. These fit the barrel better and seem more solidly built. I love them and am grateful that I didn’t have to purchase a whole new laser sight.

The original arbors that came with the bore sight kit were either broken or almost impossible to discern the caliber written on the very end of them. This kit solves that problem albeit at a cost. This is what should've come with the originat bore sight kit from Strong Tools that I bought.

Necessary replacement caliber adapters that wear out with useUnfortunately, under normal use, these caliber specific adapters just wear out. I wish that everything lasted forever and never wore out, but some parts just wear out from use; like engine oil that needs to be replaced. The Strong Tools company offers these replacement parts whereas other companies do not. I made a mistake, by not following the directions, and I ruined one by getting it stuck in the muzzle brake. Now I have studied the directions. I lubricate the adapter with a little bit of barrel oil. I put the adapter in loose, tighten it in the bore, and loosen it before removing. I have not had to replace an adapter in a long time. I bought these extras just in case. You know, it is always a scheduling nightmare, and long drive to the gun range.

The star ratings should be enough for most products if i want to write something i will ...getting really old having to write something in order for the rating to be excepted, may just stop rating products altogether
