This laser bore sight worked with all of my pistols & rifles using the provided shims for various bore diameters. Bore tools like these are especially good for centering your left/right on pistol sights, or getting a new optic or attachment close before taking to the range! It is a must have, especially at this price!

The product itself isn’t bad, but I ordered the .22 but got the 9mm.

I think a lot of people misunderstand what the point of a sighting laser like this is. A laser is not affected by gravity or wind or drag so you are never going to get a perfect point of impact. So don’t be comparing this to an auger style or a chambered cartridge. This has an on off switch and that alone makes it my preferred sighting tool those little chamber cartridge that are shaped like bullets are nice but they go through batteries like crazy and that’s if you don’t lose them all trying to take them out or put them in because it doesn’t have an on off switch, it’s so frustrating and tedious to use those little guys. I’ll take something like this all day long. The purpose of a sighting laser is to get you close so you don’t spend a ton of ammo getting on the spot and this is perfectly adequate for getting you on paper so you can use your brain and math to sight in exactly where you need to be whether it be a red dot or a scope. So while other people are still fumbling with their tiny batteries and cartridge lasers, I’ll actually be enjoying shooting my firearms knowing that it is very likely, I will only need one set of batteries for the entire lifetime of this unit.

I recently obtained the 5.56mm / .223 Caliber Boresighter, and I must say it's an outstanding tool for anyone serious about shooting accuracy. The boresighter arrived promptly and was well-packaged, ensuring it reached me in perfect condition as-well-as providing safe storage later.Using the boresighter was incredibly straightforward. It fit flawlessly into my rifle’s bore, and the laser is bright but maybe hard to see in bright daylight. This made sighting in my scope a breeze at an indoor venue, but a harder at an outdoor range. It saved me a significant amount of ammunition getting rounds on paper. The construction of the boresighter is robust and feels very durable, giving me confidence that it will last through many uses. The precision with which it aligns the scope is impressive, and after making adjustments based on the laser, I found my shots were consistently on target. It's a must-have for any gun enthusiast or professional who wants to improve their shooting accuracy. Highly recommended for its quality, ease of use, and value for money!

Works well. Gaskets fit snugly. Accuracy is pinpoint up to 50yards, tested on .22, .177, and 9mm. Bright enough to see indoors, somewhat difficult to see at distances beyond 20 yards in daylight. Can’t beat the price for the function. Batteries seem to live plenty long — still just as bright a month later on a second round of testing for me.

1) delivery was much longer than estimated at time of order.2) misleading that it fits so many bore diameters. It appears that each model fits one caliber.. the o-rings do not allow coverage among many calibers, only to made the dedicated caliber barrel more or less snug.3) the unit didn't light up when the provided batteries were installed not did the laser respond to batteries I had on hand either.4) The photo shows that the laser lens is not even close to being centered within the opening on the front of the device. The lens runs out of round when the body is held and the bore shaft is rotated. The laser sight is going to print non-centric to the barrel of any gun it'splaced into. Counter intuitive to any notion of placing the bore's center properly on the intended impact point on the target used for sighting a gun barrel. This one should not have left the factory.
