I wish it had the primer switch, it was cheaper though.

Makes quite the time saver getting on paper not to mention the money it cost vs laser on ammo prices. Highly recommend

I was skeptical due to the price but purchased it anyways. When it arrived I marked the back of it so that I could rotate it in the chamber and see if the laser was truly straight after turning it 90 degrees and then 90 degrees more for a full 180 deg, the red dot was consistently in the same spot. The laser is indicating that my new pistol will be hitting high at 25 yards, that’s good to for when I take it to the range next weekend.

Osprey Global holds the original American patent on Laser Boresights. Keith Oliver, the founder and current owner of Osprey Global developed them in the early 2000's. I own one in every caliber available as they are far superior to "arbor" style boresights of the previous generation. I also own several Osprey Global reflex sights and rifle scopes and I believe they are the best value in rifle and pistol optics.Lastly, let me say that, in 10 years, I've had two issues with Osprey products. One was a reflex sight I bought from the Osprey Store on Amazon that somehow reached me with a cracked lens. The second was a reflex sight that developed issues with reticle adjustment. In both instances Osprey replaced the products swiftly and without quibbling. When they advertise an unconditional lifetime warranty, they mean it and their customer service people are amazing.Customer for life!

I marked the case and loaded it several times, rotating it 90 degrees each time. Very little difference. These MUST be loaded under the extractor for accuracy. Load it into an empty mag and drop the slide, just like a bullet. The slide MUST fully lock into battery. This one loads correctly, and extracts normally when you want to remove it. It seems a simple thing to make, but many others have useless grooves that don't meet the 45 ACP design standard, and won't load correctly.Hey Osprey - I need one in 380! It's coming back, baby!!!

I just can't find a decent 45 APC boresight. This one is no different. The units fits too loose in the battery. Can not get a consistent sight spot between loadings. Battery life from the original package only lasted 15 minutes. Very disappointed. Tried in both my Springfield XDM and my Sig 1911 scorpion. Suggest trying another brand for 45 ACP.

I thought this item was defective at first and I even started a return. My sight and the red laser was not lining up in any of my 9mm firearms. Then I read one of the reviews left by a consumer. It said that the laser was not accurate because the slide was not closing all the way and as such the barrel will be pointed slightly upward until fully closed. So I went and got the package and tried again. This time I slowly closed the slide and when I got to the point of resistance I pushed a little harder to close the slide and it closed fully shut. Once that happened, it was spot on. I did it with all of my 9mm. I was also getting my barrel cleaning rod ready to pop the boresight out, and I didn't need. Because the boresight is actually shaped like a 9mm round, it popped out when I pulled back the slide so no need for the barrel cleaning rod in any of my 9mm pistols. I zeroed in a red dot with it and can't wait to test it out at the range this weekend.
