Took a chance on a very reasonably priced hole saw. I have used it on vinyl siding and soffit material without any issues. I’ve also used it in 1/2” aspenite and drywall. Working great so far. It comes with a very good arbor and a couple replacement pilot bits. You can’t go wrong as far as I’m concerned.

Worked really well in my plaster ceilings. Tried a regular hole saw and it ruined it.

Makes clean holes through plaster and lath. Perfect for recessed lighting or LED pancakes. Be prepared for lots of dust; that’s always the case with plaster. Drilled 6 holes so far and still going strong.

I was skeptical when ordering this product but after using it to cut 20 holes in a plaster ceiling it held up well and worked perfectly I’ve used the greenlee hole saw supplied from the electrical supply and it worked just as well at a lower cost
