I only had to drill into brick, so I really didn’t stress it too bad. It worked well, and for the price, if I never use it again, I’m not out much.

I spent 3 hours on a ladder with this 6.3" hole saw and made it half way through the brick, spraying water every 30-45 seconds. Granted, I did stop a few times to chisel out the middle. I had already bored a pilot hole so it didn't even have to cut that. Not sure how much of the issue was the hole saw itself but one big issue was that it was SDS Plus rather than SDS Max. A little research showed SDS Plus is for light duty. The next day I rented a SDS Max hammer drill and rented a hole saw with it (for less than the cost of this one, orange you glad I told you ; )The SDS Max drill was a lot heavier, drilled at a lower RPM and with much more hammer force. It drilled the rest of the way through the brick in just a couple of minutes. Granted it busted through the last portion but these bricks had two rows of holes and the Amazon hole saw didn't make it to the second row.If I had started with the SDS Max and rental hole saw I could have saved over $100 (cost of this and one day rental of the SDS Plus hammer drill) and hours of time.

This lasted to make 3 holes in the foundation. A couple of teeth broke off but it got the job done and could drill more holes if needed.

Muy bueno para perforar ladrillo, no se me dificultó para nada, extrae muy bien el polvo que va generando la perforación, lo recomiendo mucho para tubería de PVC

Used for making a hole in bricks to vent a clothes dryer, it did the job and the carbide teeth were still usable after I finished. It took a little bit of effort to cut the bricks. Good item for the price.

Cuts though concrete reasonably quickly. It wobbles a bit, so the hole is quite a bit larger than 1.6".The pilot bit is useless as it is impossible to get the nut tight enough for a SDS Drill, that could be why it warbles so much.I don't see this "hole saw" lasting more than 1.5 holes as the "carbide" looks pretty bad after a 2" thick concrete hole.

Esta sierra es una porquería, no la compren, no pierdan su dinero!! Mi pared es de tabicón hueco aplanada con yeso!! Pues solo con el yeso pudo, a la pared no le hizo nada. Pésima compra!

When my first hole saw broke while I was cutting a vent hole for the dryer, I was a bit miffed to say the least. Found this one in Amazon and thought I'd give it a shot. I was surprised how heavy the box was when I picked it up off the porch. When i opened the box and brought it the cutting tool, I was pretty happy about the thickness of the steel. I counted 12 cutting knives on it and hoped it wouldn't take long to finish the job. It didn't take long at all, and it went through a lot faster then I thought. It's it super fast? No! But the job got done, and I'm happy. If you're looking to cut through brick or concrete, I would recommend this cutter.

I bought this to core a hole in the concrete curb for landscape drain lines. The 3 inch core bit worked well and cut a clean hole and got the job done. The bad was probably user error. I used the core bit with pilot bit expecting the pilot to lead the way. The bolt holding the bit was not up to the job. Once the pilot bit spun and did not hold the pilot drill the core did not progress. I then drilled a pilot hole using another 1/4 bit and the core bit followed that pilot hole. The SDS shank was damaged at the connecting end and I twisted it out of shape with my hammer drill. Probably user error as I drilled too deep and the bit bound up causing a backlash on the drill slamming the handle into the ground multiple times. I should have broken the core every one inch to prevent binding. So the ruined SDS shank was probably my fault. Once I figured that out it went better. This was purchased as a one use item for a specific job and most likely I will never use it again so the price was right and it worked. It would have lasted longer if I knew some of the tricks I learned along the way. Would I buy it again? Yes.
