Looks well made but unfortunately it’s not a true 4 inch holesaw ( 100 mm =3.937 in) . Close but I needed a true 4 inch holesaw , which it was advertised as . Had to return it

These are impressive for the cost. Cuts through aluminium plate like a hot knife through butter. Using a pistol drill (hand drill) and cutting fluid these are very good.Only down side is the sizes they came in. Would be better if there was 16mm, 20mm, 22mm, 25mm, 30mm and 32mm which are more common gland sizes but happy with my by non the less

Appear well made. Even have an allen wrench to tighten the pilot bit. Bought to drill thin aluminum. Needed holes for recessed led lights in wood so grabbed one. It cut really well. Third hole the pilot bit snapped off. It broke like a very hard bit. I was using a 3/8 battery powered drll. I have mixed feelings about these. I'll toss another pilot bit in and keep going. For what they cost, I will probably get my value out of them. I have greenlee for the heavy work with 1/2" right angle drill.Edit: they included two spare bits. Didn't notice until I was going to rob off another.Added a star.

Based on the item description, it sounds like this thing is bulletproof or close to it. However, when drilling the first hole I tried to make with a brand new set, the drill bit snapped before I made it through the metal. Good thing they give you extras bits. I provided a photo of what I was drilling through too so someone can say I was going through something ridiculous. That’s the metal beam in my garage that I was trying to put an outdoor light on the back side of and needed to run the wires through. Since the bit snapped, I used a normal dill bit to set the pilot hole before using a backup bit in the hole saw. I didn’t want a second pilot bit to snap. So I started cutting, which started off really well. It was tearing through the metal. Then it started to slowdown and seemed to struggle a bit while cutting. Once the hole was cut, I looked at the ole saw and realized that I lost 3 of the carbide teeth. And yes I was running the saw in the correct direction because I do know you cannot run carbide saws backwards. I was impressed with the look and feel of the saws when they got delivered and had high hopes for them. I was very disappointed with my first use.

First, let me say that this product is great "overall", except for the persistence of one rotten apple - twice !! I returned the first order because after spending the time to put each of the six pieces together, the 16 mm hole saw refused to be put together despite all my efforts. The pilot drill did not fit the cutter assembly. The other five worked like a charm. But I had to return the whole thing, it's one whole package, as it were. The seller/manufacturer sent a replacement less than a week later, which was great. This time it came with a fancy cloth pouch. I proceeded to put them together again. BUT again, the 16 mm hole saw refused the same best efforts I accorded the rest, which, again, all five went flawlessly. The same 16 mm piece is the problem. Now, how could lightning strike twice? Metaphorically, it's the same one rotten apple that spoiled the rest. I am not going to return this package again, and let all my efforts go to waste. Besides, I need this tool. BUT I stand by my one star review, until and if the seller/manufacturer sends me the 16 mm bit, fully assembled. It's a shame because this is one darn good product. It is well made and performs well, except for the one rotten apple. I can't believe that this thing passed quality control.Revised Review: Hooray to Customer ServiceThe seller's customer support is definitely 5 Stars on a product that I am now happy to rate as definitely 5 Stars. After exchanging emails the seller did not only send a replacement, already assembled, they sent me two of the 16 mm hole saw. Took just a bit of time but the seller regularly advised about the shipment.I now wish every seller performs in this manner. They made good their promise and literally delivered. Awesome!
