This Hole Saw cut through the floor of a pathetic GM who thought it was more important to save 20 cents to not provide a hatch to change a $20 sensor. Use with caution, this thing cuts steel like a hot knife through butter. Lube with WD40 and go slow... but wow - what a great saw. I'll be buying other sizes if need be from this brand.

Very impressed, surprised honestly. Given the high cost of similar bits at large box stores I figured I had to give it a shot though. I've only used it to cut 3 holes so far, but zero issues, and went through the 16 gauge steel easily with some cutting grease and stopping a few times to avoid overheating. Very very happy with this and saved probably $20+ by going this route.

It cuts good holes, but that 'limiter ring' has got to go. It stops you cutting into a hole deeper than an inch, for no good reason. I put my drill press on high speed and took it off with an angle grinder. Other than that one stupid design element, it's a good bit. Of course the pilot bit was el cheapo, so I had to replace it and lose that pita spring too. Cuts clean holes, and I think it will go a long time now after I tuned it up.

It cut through the steel well but did not make an accurate 1-inch cut due to a slight wobble.I had hoped for an exact 1-inch bore.

Cut fast with little effort, on a slow speed setting. We'll worth the price and stays sharp.

Ordered this to drill or cut 1" holes in 1/2" steel. My buddy said do you really think a $10.00 bit will cut through 1/2" steel. I said it had good reviews. When I tried it on the first hole the pilot bit drilled very nice and when it hit the 1" cutter part I was like holy smokes this thing is cutting sweet. The secret is to keep it well oiled while cutting the steel. I am extremely happy with the hole cutter. Cut all my holes without any issues. Would recommend it for steel..

Cut really fast through some ~18 gauge steel on my project car. Pretty impressed with it. The pilot bit fell out of mine on the first use, so make sure you tighten it down snugly.
