This thing is a piece of junk. It won't cut clean into your material, it binds up and jumps all around. It just chews up your project. I had to run it in reverse to finish cutting the hole completely. I don't know if it's because the teeth on it are crooked or what, but using it was a nightmare

Great price , heavy duty and sharp, I originally bought one at Home Depot $47.97 for a heater vent pipe installation through an outside wall. I found this one and ended up returning the other one. It worked like a charm.

Still shopping for a deep 4.5 inch hole saw... This fits my needs but the shipping time is way to long !! Need prime next day or 2 day ...too bad

I bought this deep hole cutter to cut a wooden double joist and 1/2" plywood with a thick vinyl siding. I used the cutter in reverse to cut the vinyl siding so it did'nt damage it and then I used it in the foreward mode to cut the 3 1/2" thick wood, and it even sliced through a nail I overlooked. It cut right through in two inches of the first pass and after removing the first core I cut through the second joist. The teeth on the saw are still sharp, ready to cut wood on my next project. I have about 20 hole saws of various sizes and some top brands and this hole saw is a great addition to the line up. I recommend buying this 4.5" hole saw.

I'm a low Voltage contractor , I purchase this to cut speakers 6 1/2 size , for wood ceilings the opening was perfect for what i needed, Home depot didn't have the size, this one work perfect for me .

I didn't buy this for long-term use so I wasn't looking for high quality and I can't address durability. I fabricated a pair of grille frames for some speakers and needed to make 8" holes in 1/8" MDF. This worked. I doubt it would be suitable for thicker or denser material and would be amazed if it could cut any metal more than once. But it worked fins for my purposes.
