This product worked perfectly to drill a hole into around 1” of granite countertop to install a RO faucet. It was a very easy process after watching a few YouTube videos. I’m not sure if the product would work as well when making additional holes, but I only needed it for this 1 project.

Quick shipment. Exactly as described. My objective, ordered by the COO, was to put a hole in the bottom of the "heirloom" flowerpot. Studied at You Tube. Put some water on the surface to be cut, cut at about a 45-degree angle until there is enough of a depression to cut/drill (slowly) from a vertical position without the bit skidding all around. Go with a slow RPM, very light pressure, add water generously, and wash off the bit regularly. Worked great.

Cut several holes in ceramic tile that was mounted in 1-1/2" thick concrete on metal lath. Used water in a spray bottle to lubricate. Cut great with no noticeable wear to the bit. Could probably cut at least several more. Not a bad bit for the price.

I’m glad I purchased 2 of these for my project. Adding a stand alone filter faucet in my kitchen so I needed to cut through maybe 1” (not exactly sure on thickness) of granite. The first bit worked fine, didn’t want to cut quite as quickly as I had hoped. I got tired of trying to work the drill to get it to bite so I replaced the bit with the second one, and wow, big difference, same technique but the new one made amazingly easy time cutting through teller remaining 3/4 of the granite.Still giving it 4/5 stars because when it worked it was crazy fast.

I wanted to install a new faucet and I needed another hole in the granite countertop. This little saw did the job in a few min. I used a battery operated Milwaukee drill and with a bit of patience, I got a very clean 1” hole in the countertop. When starting to drill, it really helps if you hold the drill under an angle to the surface and go at low RPMs to start the hole and to avoid the saw sliding off the position where you want to drill. Once you make a groove, you can continue drilling at 90 degrees (perpendicular to the countertop service) as usual. I did stop periodically and cleaned up the dust with a small shopvac and dipped the saw in water to cool it off. I’m not sure if that’s necessary, but worked well for me.Good product for a couple of holes. I can’t comment if it will last, but for a small job - definitely recommended!

This bit made it through 4 holes in ceramic tile to install grab bars. It was toast after that, but it got the job done and saved me money vs local big box store.
