A pull-through design in .22/5.56 caliber, the translucent whip functions as an empty chamber indicator (ECI). The Bore-Whip is particularly well suited for the demands of cleaning airguns, while being equally functional on centerfire and rim fire.
A great range bag addition, the Bore-Whip simplifies cleaning and lubrication of more difficult to access guns like a Ruger 10/22 or Mark III.
Each tip can be used multiple times and should substantially outlast a similar priced bag of patches.

I assume this would work fine for other types of guns, but it will not work for my .22 pellet gun. The gun is spring operated, with a folding barrel. The end of the barrel is not open and accessible (there is other structure in the way), so this is way too stiff to get into the small chamber.

Putting a swab on a length of pliable nylon was a great. idea. Works great as final pass through the bore.

Very helpful for cleaning 22lr and .223 firearms. Protects the barrel from scratching and harsh brushes, but since it is soft foam it only lasts a few cleanings. However, after the foam is worn out you can use the plastic sticks for chamber flags to show your gun is clear at the range.

This is a great product! I struggled with my dad’s old cleaning rod for years with patches. But this is better and faster. Dip in cleaning solution and swab the chamber, then feed it down the barrel and pull through. Easy. Feed again and again until comes out clean.The swab end can be cleaned off mostly by squeezing in a cloth, then reuse. Each one lasted about 4-6 cleanings. It can be washed with soap and water too.Alternately you could do a wet one and a dry one.Package comes with 3.

Used several times instrad of the traditional bore jags. Appears to do a thorough job with 5.56 and .22. More convenient than using patches. Re-useable.

BUT ... be aware that you're only going to get three or maybe four passes through the bore and then the puff is going to turn inside out or detach from the whip. So ... it's great on your 10/22 between cards at the ABRA match. But they don't last long.

These are great and very convenient if you want less hassle in cleaning your firearms, this is a product you will enjoy. I have purchased these from the recommendation of a friend and have been a steady purchaser ever since. Make sure you get the correct ones and you'll be very happy, sure gun cleaning isn't the most fun thing to do but these really help make the job a lot less painful.
