Very disappointing the float switch is MIC. Wayne prides themselves for being American made.

I had one of these before but seem to have lost it?!? Great for adding a float switch to an existing utility pump.

I swapped the old non functioning float switch out with the new one on my sewage ejector with no problem except for the water level adjustment. The water level adjustment was a little trickier. Since the new switch is mechanical instead of mercury it is heavier. I had to lower the switch to the top level of the pump on the discharge pipe and shorten the recommended length by one inch.

Worked exactly as it was supposed to. I used it in combination with another float switch to regulate the water levels between my well and the water reservoir for an island home. Fresh water is a real commodity during the summer months here and the set up works great.

This switch is 115 v.- 13 amp for 1/2 HP pumps. It is the perfect solution to "pump down" requirements such as basement sump pumps or as a replacement for the sump switch. I used it as a switch for a non-submersible sump pump (Wayne 1/2 HP portable utility pump-PC4).There is simply no substitute for this type of switch. It is well-constructed and comes with simple set-up instructions. It works flawlessly in my application.
