I recently installed this and it gets the job done effectively. The materials are decent—nothing extraordinary, but they’re adequate for the task. It performed well in filtering sand and maintaining a consistent water flow, even in less-than-ideal soil conditions. Just be careful not to hit limestone...The installation process was relatively straightforward for someone with basic DIY experience. Once set up, it worked reliably and met my expectations for a product in this price range.Overall, it’s a good option if you’re looking for a functional and affordable sand point.

The shallow well was built by using this well point and has been in use for about 11 months. So far so good.

While driving the well into the sand, the well-point threads stripped and pipe broke off around 15 feet below grade.

The Well Point is a solidly built product, weighing 7 lbs, and includes a 1-1/4 inch x 36-inch sand point well and heavy-duty steel drive point. All components are well-designed and fit together smoothly, making it efficient for well point installation.The 60-gauge stainless steel screen effectively filters out sand, ensuring smooth water flow. The 36-inch pipe length is sufficient for most manual pump wells.It is durable and corrosion-resistant, easily driving into soil and capable of withstanding harsh environments, ensuring long-term use.Installation is straightforward, suitable even for beginners without special skills. Just drive the well point into the ground, connect the sand point, and attach the manual pump.The installation requires significant physical effort and a bit of luck. After driving the well point about 12 feet into the ground, I hit something hard and couldn’t proceed further. Unfortunately, I also couldn’t pull the equipment back out, even with the help of a jack. I believe this was just a matter of bad luck on my part and not an issue with the product itself.

This well point is constructed well and was really easy to drive a shallow well for my garden. I didn’t have to pound much on it with the water flowing through it. It went in really well in this Florida sand. Now i dont have to worry about the chlorine in the water killing my garden.
