This pump is used primarily as Cellar pump. it's provides protection from flooding.They are also used whenever water has to be moved from one place to another, e.g.in the home, agriculture, horticulture, plumbing and many other applications.
Cleaning the impeller ： If excessive deposits collect in the pump case you must dismantle the bottom part of the pump as follows:
1. Undo the 4 screws from the bottom of the intake cage.
2. Remove the intake cage from the pump case.
3. clean the impeller with clear water.
4. Assemble in reverse order
Multi Outlet
There with 3 different outlet (1 inch ,1-1/4 inch, 1-1/2 inch ) , can choose from according to the flow rate , The bigger the flow is, the wider the outlet should be.
Handle Grip
There is an air vent on the pump so when the pump is working, there will be water leaking out from here, this is a normal phenomenon, please do not care
Auto Float Switch
When the water level rises above the pump, the pump will automatically start working under the control of the float switch. When the water level is below the pump, you should lift the float for pumping. Note: Once the pump fails to pump water, you should immediately lower the float switch or cut off the power. Otherwise, it will cause the coil to burn out.
Base Plate
A certain height of the base can avoid other impurities being sucked into the impeller when the pump is working.

3 months old and it quit. won’t run.i bought it to run my external pond filter (600 gallon). it kept clogging so i had to backwash often. poor quality

I bought this pump to drain down a pond to facilitate an expansion in size. Wow! This affordable pump packs a big wallop! I was amazed at how much water I was able to pump out in a relatively short period of time. Completely satisfied with how this unit worked out for me and glad I didn't spend more money on a big box store unit.

I really like this pump, it works great, however if you use it in septic tank as I do be weary that when the float gets dirty (it will) it may not operate properly. I've had the pump installed for 6 months when the dirty float (because of the flat design) collects matter which causes it not to be buoyant enough to trigger the pump. The pump works great still after 2 septic back-ups because the float didn't operate to trigger the pump. Hopefully, the manufacturer will change float design.

We use pumps on the farm to redirect water during rain events. Recently I went to turn on one of the pumps and it was dead. With a forecast of heavy rains the following week I knew I needed a pump and quickly. I have bought expensive pumps and cheap pumps and both seem to give me the same usable time. So instead of spending $89+ at the local hardware store, I ordered this inexpensive pump for 2 day delivery. I will be thrilled if it gives me a year (or even more) of use. I am ordering another as a backup so I don't have to panic at the last minute. We are in a low area and hurricanes each year and having pumps is an important item to have.

This unit pumps very well with no cavitation at all. It can handle small to medium sized particulates.[note hot tip; fabricate a filter sock from window screen to keep out any debris. ] most pumps burn out due toLeaves, twigs and other such materials. Good quality unit.
