The back-up 9v Battery fits very tight and located up into the Alarm housing. Almost impossible to remove. Manufacturer provides a piece of tape to attach to the side of the battery making it easier to pull the battery out of the housing. Worked good for one time. Do yourself a big favor and tie a piece of string in a loop around the battery with enough room to fit your thumb or a pair of pliers into the loop. Should have plenty of room to push the battery up into the housing and makes battery replacement easier.

Installed over 1 year agoHas saved me a lot of grief already by alerting of high water level when I turned a breaker of during renovating and forgot to turn back on sewage pit that was actively being used at the same time.I routinely test the alarm and float but no issues thus far. Great investment.

I called support, they asked me to change the connector, the unit still did not work. Now they want me to pay to ship it back to them for diagnosis. Buyer beware.UPDATE: they finally sent me a replacement for free, it had the same problem and then they sent me another it had the same problem. I took a video and sent it to them and now they are ghosting me.They obviously believe their product works but it does not.

Original pump alarm fried from nearby lightening strike. Exact replacement, all i had to do was unplug old unit and plug this one in. Thankfully, alarm has never gone off. Nice to have peace of mind with one of these. Seller of house was required to install it when we bought the house.

Loud alarm and bright light. I installed this on a new liberty pumps ejector pit that had no alarm. But was pre fitted for the float, which is included

Worked perfect for my liberty pump pro 380 sewage simplex system. This model of alarm is for indoor use only. I would recommend getting the alarm float pre-installed if you are buying a liberty simplex system. Its easy to do but pretty nasty if the unit has been used. The 9 volt battery backup is a nice touch.

I bought this Liberty alarm for my sewage lift pump, the alarm is a quality float alarm. Installed easily and has nice load alarm.

Note: This review was for what appears to be an older version of this product. The listing is the same, however the product image is now showing something that looks completely different than the ones we have. The new version looks sleeker.Installation was easy, everything needed was included except for anchors if needing to mount on concrete/block (which I did). All of the components appear to be high quality and all of the cabling is of a generous length that should be enough for most installations.My main complaint with it is, for an alarm unit that is so large the alarm should be much louder than it is. Given typically people will have these hidden with their sump pits in a basement and probably behind closed doors I don't think it is loud enough to wake anybody up sleeping on the second floor if a problem were to arise in the middle of the night. This kind of defeats the purpose but, I may be wrong, and hope I don't ever find out.

The alarm box itself is nice. The alarm is loud and the operation and installation are easy. I gave 3 stars because I did email the Liberty Pumps company before buying to ask about the float ampere capacity. They told me 10A and I found out it was 5A on a label stucked on the float pump wire. It's clearly not enough for a 120V motor. It would be better to have these ratings engraved on the float instead of a paper that will disappear over the time. I had to buy a separate float with 10A rating.
