Replaced my old pump and tested it out. It worked like a charm. No issues so far so would recommend!

Bought this for our basement that leaks and collects water during heavy rains. Easy to set up the attachments to hook up to a hose. Runs and pumps well without being loud. So far we have had no issues and it keeps about basement from flooding. I really like the automatic feature that turns it on when the water fills up.

I use the sump pump to drain water from my pool faster. Works great and emptied my pool very quickly.

This pump's automation is actuated via an internal float sensor. On a plus side, this pump is smart enough not to keep cycling when the little remaining water from its exit hose flows back into the bucket when it's just finished pumping. Several other pumps I've tried have this issue - not this one.On a possibly negative side, the way its floaty sensor works, it pumps the water out up until there's about 3.25" of water remaining where the pump sits. Once a couple extra inches of water are added, it'll restart pumping. That doesn't affect most applications, so, not taking away any stars.I measured it pump water out into a 3/8" hose with 11ft of head (elevation above the pump's inlet) at a rate of about 3.5gpm. And it ran very quietly doing so.

My old sump pump took a dump after we came back from vacation. I’m taking a leap of faith and trying this as a replacement. My old pump is an Everbilt brand at Home Depot for $160. It’s made of cast iron so it’s heavy, solid, with an external water level float. This design is completely the opposite. The body is plastic, light, and feels somewhat like a toy at $60. The float is internal which might be better in the long run since it minimizes failure. The one design feature I don’t like is the separate outlet valve. It’s a thin plastic elbow that requires installation into the pump body. Once you install the long 1.5” diameter x 30 inch drain pipe, the connection at the body is a bit whobbly. It would have been much better design to have the drain valve permanently attached to the pump. Once installed, the pump evacuated water very quickly and quietly. Not sure how it will hold up long term, but so far so good. Good value…. So far.
