I am going to give you the best advice.1. Watch How-to and Reviews youtube channel for guide how to install this specific repair kit model.2. Memorize the steps from his video. Watch a few times if you need to.3. When it comes time to do the repair, have your wife / partner stand outside and watch you.4. Prepare to have mass sex appeal to your wife / partner when install is complete 15-20 minutes later. The installation was surprisingly simple, and in 20 minutes the kit was completely installed, leak was fixed perfectly. But the real victory? Me watching my wife’s reaction! After seeing me tackle the repair so effortlessly, I could tell she was impressed—and I mean really impressed. Not only did I tackle a plumbing job that probably saved us $700, but I also seemed to unlock a new level of attractiveness in her eyes. Take advantage of this opportunity.Just a FYI - If you leave your hose hooked up after turning off, water from the hose does continue to drain out of the anti backflow drain holes. I thought mine was leaking at the seal but it was just water from the hose finding its way to empty out at those drain holes.

This item worked perfectly. My Fossett used to have a funny noise when the water ran, but this kit sold that problem.

after 35 years my Woodford 25 faucets were leaking because the rubber parts had deteriorated. So I only needed the two ends for the connecting rod to make my repairs. Too bad those items are not available separately, so I had to buy the whole kit which is a shame, However still cheaper than having to replace the whole faucet.

As other reviews mentioned, the head nut is too big. I tried installing the parts with the old head nut and it leaked worse. So I tried installing the parts with the new head nut and forced the head nut that was too big into the fixture. I nearly broke the fixture trying to get the new head nut in. When I was done the leak was worse than ever. Waste of time. I just went to the hardware store and got a new spigot. Should have done that first.
