Fits loosely and locks, but does not stay in place. It may look like the bottom grips and locks in place but just flounders around.

For some reason, the builder put a water spout on the street side of the house. I never felt comfortable with it being there as anyone walking by could access it. This lock has put aside that concern. Also, it was easy to install and remove.

We installed it right away. I does secure the faucet. Although, the fit is not great. The problem is that the lock rusts in a month so you can't open the lock cover when necessary. Poor product - should not be sold.
