Great option if you need an inexpensive, yet comprehensive bore sight kit. This does an excellent job of getting your firearms somewhat sighted in so as to not waste time and ammo chasing shots. This will get you “on the paper” but you still need to fine tune any firearm. The laser on this is plenty bright and the whole kit is pretty well made. As a starter kit, I would recommend this one.

The instructions are difficult to understand, it took me a while to figure this thing out. Once you do, it's okay but it doesn't seem super precise. I think it gets you 90% of the way there, basically, gets you on paper, which is good.

This kit has a plethora of different bore sizes. The laser is plenty bright. Great tool kit for any firearms collector. Comes in a decent case. There is some room for improvement on the materials but this does not get beat up and shpuld hold well. Perfect for getting your firearms close to center.

First and foremost, everything shown in the pic is included. The laser itself only needs a single battery, so with two you have a backup. My issue is the instructions leave a lot to be desired. They are basically just pics *of* everything as if that is all you need to set it up. I picked it up to use with a 12 ga shotgun and...perhaps I'm simply not as smart as I think I am...but I could **not** deduce how to actually mount the device in the barrel 🤷♂️ I'm giving it a 3-star rating as all of the pieces *are* there (including two good batteries, etc), but only three because unless you already know how to use it, the instructions are useless to show you.

I have mixed results form boresighters. Some seem to be better than other as far as how tightly they secure into the barrel and how true they are when secured. It seems that some do not secure themselves tightly enough for any amount of adjustment to make them "true".This boresighter is about the best I've used. It still have the typical drawbacks, but they aren't as severe and they are more easily corrected than some of the cheaper kits. This is mainly because the adaptors and bushings are a cut above, quality wise, over your run-of-the-mill set.In addition, this comes with a case. It isn't a super high quality case, but it is plenty rugged and secure to keep your kit safe when bouncing around with you heavy sight pushers and other tools in your gunsmith kit.The foam on the inside that secures the various adaptors and laser is... sufficient. That's about all I can say about it. It will do the job of holding the items to a moderate degree of security.Overall, for a "does every caliber you can need" kit, this is very usable for the price.

The instructions are vague but it's easy to use. The laser bore sighter cone shape piece slides so you can adjust it to your barrel length, including handguns. You screw in the bit based on the chart included for your caliber. I started without reading the instructions and tried more bits than needed. For my XDM Elite 9mm red dot sight, I used the #10 which fit perfectly. Once you insert the bit end deep and safe enough, slide the cone shaped plastic piece to the muzzle and it centers the sighter. I will test the accuracy in the range and I'll update the review.
