I used it all, Over the house but you have to keep changing the cedar or the moths keep coming back. Not good for long term. Could get expensive. Smell was fine and I will reuse in my garden so I would say it's functional.

I use this as mulch around the base of an outdoor artificial Christmas tree. It’s an attractive display, and the subtle pine scent gives more realism to the artificial tree.
