Deep brown mulch dye is perfect for updating the look of my front yard, which has areas of ground cover that weather and fade during the winter months. All you have to do is spray for an even coverage. No mixing, no mess.

It was nice that it came premixed, but it didn't go very far. Only got the small area around the rock. I bought a concentrate at half the price and it got the entire hill done.

It arrived without the hose and pump. Whomever packed it had to see it was broken off but sent it anyway. I used a sprayer I had to spray the existing mulch. It really did not do much to enhance the mulch color. Once it dried you could not even tell a difference. Better off buying new mulch.

I live in Florida, beloved by termites. So though my HOA requires that I mulch my yard, I don't like to put anything wood directly up against my house, because it attracts the insects.Instead, I used eucalyptus mulch against the house, and regular brown shredded bark in the beds about a foot away.Problem is, the eucalyptus mulch is a blonde color, and clashes with the brown. But this mulch dye colored it and effectively blended the two types together.Only downside is, this mulch dye is expensive, and doesn't go very far.

The product itself is very good but the sprayer was not. I just kind of drilled out in a stream so it made it very hard to spray a large surface area. Consequently we ended up having to use two jugs to cover our front yard and it ended up costing us more than mulch. But the sprayer did more of a spray than a straight dribble he stream it would’ve been much easier to cover the surface area, rather than having some parts oversaturated and some parts under saturated.

It is easy to use. I recommend using gloves. Coverage is great, the color is vibrant and doesn’t take much. Past years I had to renew my red mulch every spring due to fading from the Texas weather. This gets costly depending on the type and amount of bags used. Not to mention the hauling and spreading of the mulch. This product is a lifesaver.

I have several wood mulch beds that are in direct sunlight and the red mulch fades easily. I thought I would give this a try to refresh the look. The first spray kinda shocked me because it was REAL Orange looking. But within minutes it was the right color red. Quickly absorbs and doesn't have a fake look to it. I will purchase again.

I wouldnt recommend this product, the coloring does not stick to faded mulch well at all..unless you use several coats.. i was thinking it would cover mulch sort of like spray paint effect, regarding coverage and that is Not the case at all the coverage is definitely not opaque it is translucent unless you spray sevral coats. I guess is what I was hoping for an opaque color to make my mulch look new again, and it did not do that at all, i purcahsed red, color maybe others colors could he different But don’t use the red one if you’re trying to cover red mulch and just remember that if perhaps you had a piece of black mulch in your red mulch that black mulch will not change color nothing changes color except add thing more color to match but it still looks faded and I hope this helps
