Wanted to update my landscaping, in order to add value and curb appeal to my home. Unfortunately the style of mulch I prefer only came in one color, which just didn’t do my home any justice.After reading the reviews and noticing how easy the application instructions were, I opted for this remedy. Simply poured out the mulch in my flowerbeds, mixed the solution in a cheap garden pump sprayer and colored them all instantly. It was so easy and they look amazing!!!

This colorback is easy to use and stays on the mulch, but it was too orange for my red mulch, which I also thought was too orange. The easy solution was to add Wine color clothing dye to the water and colorback. You can get just the right shade this way, and it doesn't wash away. I imagine this technique would work well for darker colors too, adding a little brown or black.

Product works well making the mulch look new. It takes a lot of time to spray the mulch and the coverage is way off. It only covers about a 6th of what they claim. If you mulch needs to be dressed and the area isn't big then this is for you.

This stuff made my old mulch look new again. I also test-sprayed the base of a tree, rocks and some dirt and they have held the color too. When the mulch is wet from rain, my dog has tracked some of the color onto concrete. Not a problem for me but be aware that it can happen after a few weeks.
