About this item

  • BOND LOCK SOLUTION: Tired of constantly cleaning up scattered mulch and gravel after every storm, wind gust, or playful pet? Teexpert Bond Lock landscape rock glue helps you lock loose mulches in place, preventing them from being displaced by rain or wind. It saves you the hassle of frequent cleanups, ensuring your yard, garden paths and patio stays neat and pristine—without the added cost of landscape maintenance
  • LARGE VOLUME, COVER MORE: With a 166OZ XL size, this rock glue covers up to 180 sq. ft. at 1" depth after diluted, offering more value and better coverage than smaller alternatives. Ideal choice for large yards, spacious garden beds, patios, and pond edges. No worry to run out halfway through. Efficient and cost-effective while handling larger landscape jobs. We recommend using the spraying method for even application and wider coverage
  • VERSATILE FOR VARIOUS MULCHES: Teexpert mulch glue is the ultimate versatile solution for all your mulching needs! Its concentrated formula works seamlessly on a wide range of materials—from pea gravel and rubber mulch to pine straw, wood chips, and cypress mulch. Whether you're beautifying garden beds, lining pathways, or protecting tree roots, this mulch adhesive delivers reliable results every time
  • SAFE & STRONG, BONDS MADE EASY: Our water-based formula is designed with safety in mind—completely safe for both pets and plants after dry. The pea gravel glue applies light blue to help track application areas and drying progress, then dries clear within 6 to 24 hours, forming a durable bond that lasts up to a year before reapplication. Enjoy a worry-free, beautifully organized garden all year long
  • EASY GO WITH CLEAR GUIDE: Achieving a flawless, clean finish has never been easier. For landscape areas, spray or pour the glue, diluted with 20%–50% water, and apply 2–3 thin coats for enhanced adhesion and strength. For low-foot traffic areas, mix with clean, dry stones (< 2/5 inch) without dilution. In hot weather, the mulch glue dries faster, so to prevent clogging, keep spray intervals under 5 minutes. Test a small area before applying to large spaces. For the best results, contact us for construction guidance before starting

To Maximize Effectiveness

1. Apply in Good Weather: Ambient temperature should remain above 68°F, and humidity below 60% for 48 hours before and after application, with no exposure to rain. Since it's water-based, rain can dilute the glue, weakening the bond strength.
2. Clean & Dry Base: Before applying the mulch glue, ensure the mulch or stone is dry, clean, and free from moisture, mud, oil, or dust. Use it on a well-draining and compacted base, as contaminants can weaken the bond between the stones.
3. Shake Before Use: Shake the liquid well before use to ensure its uniformity and prevent nozzle clogging. Spray/pour continuously or inintervals of no more than 5 minutes to prevent nozzle blockage especially on hot days.
4. For a More Robust Finish: Apply 2 or 3 thin coats of mulch glue for the strongest finish, allowing the first coat to dry for 24 hours or until fully dry before applying the next. A thick layer may result in improper curing, causing white/blue residue.
5. Long-Lasting Effect: Mulch glue typically lasts one year. It's recommended to reapply after winter for added reinforcement. Use within 6 months of opening. It may turn white when exposed to rain but will return to transparency when dry.

Commonly problems you may encounter:

  • Why isn't the mulch glue working well?

First, apply the mulch glue in warm (above 68℉) and dry (humidity below 70%) weather conditions for a continuous period of 3 days, avoiding its use in rainy or high humidity conditions. Second, ensure that the base material is dry, clean, and devoid of moisture, mud, oil, or dust. Finally, apply 2 or 3 thin coats of mulch glue for the strongest finish, allowing the first coat to dry for 24 hours before applying the next.

  • How can I prevent the mulch glue from clogging my sprayer?

Shake well before use to ensure uniformity. Dilute the glue with 20% water for pouring or 50% water for spraying. Apply using a watering can with multiple holes or an electric pump sprayer. Clean the equipment promptly after use to prevent nozzle clogging. During application, spray or pour continuously, or intermittently for no more than 5 minutes at a time, especially on hot days, to avoid nozzle blockage. If the ambient temperature exceeds 77°F, drying may accelerate. In such cases, dilute with approximately 10% more water to prevent clogging.

  • White/blue residue after drying?

Our mulch glue initially appears light blue when sprayed due to light reflection, but it becomes clear after drying. Also, applying the glue too thickly at once may cause improper curing, leading to an opaque color and white/blue residue. We recommend applying multiple thin coats instead. More, extended exposure to standing water from rainfall can also lead to the formation of white residue. Applying the glue in warm, dry weather may resolve it.

  • How long does the bonding effect of mulch glues last?

Our rock glue typically lasts for about 12 months before requiring reapplication, although this timeframe may vary depending on the climate and other factors. It's recommended to reapply it to your garden after the winter season to provide additional reinforcement.

  • Does it work for rubber mulch?

Sure, this mulch glue works for all types of mulch. Before use, please ensure that the rubber mulch is dry, clean, and free from moisture, mud, oil, or dust. Finally, apply 2 or 3 thin coats of mulch glue for the strongest finish, allowing the first coat to dry for 24 hours before applying the next.

This is a super good product for keeping landscape materials in place, especially when you want to blow off those fall leaves! I love that this keeps it all in place when I do that.It is a good product and is easy to apply.I got a lot of good information online from other users, so I would suggest that. The instructions are just fine.Make sure you clean out your mode of application after you are done or it will won't work well next time!

Great mulch glue. It's a small bottle to do a 100 sq feet. The bottle recommends to dilute with water to make it easier to spray. I would agree with this but do not dilute too much as you will have to come back and respray. The glue bond may be weak.I would recommend a maximum dilution of 22%, meaning for a 34 oz bottle add about 8 oz of water to thin it out just enough to spray it more easily. It holds mulch and rocks well. Prevents them from sliding around on hilly surfaces.Great product I would recommend it!

Great product to hold mulch or stone in place.  Easy to apply via multiple methods but personally prefer to use it in a watering can because of its quick cleanup.  Just follow the directions, shaking well and applying when warm and you should get great results.

This is really handy to keep your mulch in place. I particularly like that it's not toxic. I don't know how long it will last since it's only been a week or so but so far it's holding up and keeping the mulch where it's supposed to be.

Easy to use and safe for plants. Just went through our first good rain just days after applying and it held both the pea gravel and mulch in place. I hope it lasts a long time.

I’m not sure on the hold and durability so far but it’s easy to use and the instructions are clear. We will see as the summer goes how well is holds. So far so good!

I have never used mulch glue before, I ordered this on a whim, hoping it would keep the mulch from blowing around & keep it looking nice & uniform. It seems to work perfectly so far, it was easy to mix up & use, the directions were clear, it dried nicely without leaving any weird residue, everything is in it's place, I just got it so it hasn't rained yet. I will update after the rain. I plan on purchasing more for my side garden as well.

Seems ok so far. Only covers 35 sq feet of mulch and you mix it 1/2 water 1/2 solution and pour it out of a watering can...... Not sure how long it will last but I will update the review accordingly.
