Using to protect lawn post light from lawn mower. Like the natural look, like real black mulch. Very easy installation. The center cut fit the post like a glove. Should do well on colder weather.

These don’t look as realistic in person as the picture depicts. They are sturdy and not likely to fall apart anytime soon like the ones in the home store. But I was really hoping they’d Look like mulch. The material itself is convincing, but the very obvious pattern produced by how they were moulded ruins the look.

This is a much thicker, stronger weed barrier than most. The appearance is a simulated bark mulch. It has a mesh-like texture which cleverly allows water to pass through. Our aggressive Florida grass has not yet penetrated it (will keep you posted), so it is functional as well as beautiful. From a short distance it has a good resemblance to dark brown mulch well and adds a beautiful, professional appearance to our mini orchard. I love it!We bought eight (only 9 were stated as available). We need more, so a price break for bulk quantities would be appreciated.Suggestion: ship 2 or 3 per box instead of 1 per box, to save on cost.

I purchased 2 of the tree rings some time ago, but due to the extreme heat and other things, could not get to them. I just put them around the Rose of Sharon shrubs and this product is the best made I have ever seen! I work at a "big box store" and we sell a similar item but the quality of the Rocky Mountain tree rings is unbelievable! They are very heavy, sturdy, well made and look really good. I should have purchased a larger size so if you are measuring, go BIGGER! Also, I am unable to cut the hole larger, the material is very tough which means it will hold up very well, but I tried a utility knife, heavy shears and am going to use a pruning saw to cut slits. I am using them around shrubs which have many trunks, not a tree with a main trunk so I can do it that way. If you want an excellent product make to last a long time that looks good, go with Rocky Mountain!

This Rocky Mountain Tree Mulch Ring Weed Preventer is great. It is a good thickness, allows water to drain well through it, easy to install, and have had not weeds or grass try to grow through it. I like the pattern on it because it is two-fold. It looks more natural and does not allow the water to just quickly run off. Great product.
