I’m using this specificity to protect my veggies from pesky critters that like to dig in raised beds, as well as to much my plants, and avoid moisture loss. The material is easy to cut, and I would invest in a wider version of the roll. It’s also quite dense, so I should be able to use a cut piece for several years to come. I highly recommend.

I used this as a weed barrier back behind some gardenia bushes. It's a place that's hard to reach to weed without getting all scratched up in the process. This saved me much bodily damage in the long run and looks decorative, not to mention that it's biodegradable and good for the environment. Very easy to lay down. Just used a few staples to hold it in place. If you have difficulty getting it to lie flat, just wet it down a little bit and it unkinks nicely. It lasts about 6 months to a year before it needs replacing.

I got this to test out in an area of my yard near the patio that is prone to weeds. It was easy to put down and I had enough to cover the entire area. I used landscaping stakes to hold it down and that worked perfect. I used the stakes that it came with, plus a few extra that I already had. It does come with enough stakes, I just needed a few extra because of how I had to cut and arrange it. It was easy to cut as well using a box cutter as it's too tough for regular scissors. It looks really nice, almost like a sand from a distance. The best part, NO WEEDS! I waited a while to write this review so I could see how it worked and it's working great so far! Weeds are popping up in other areas, but not there. So far so good! I'm happy with this stuff and will likely get more in the near future for other problem areas.

This is a 10' long roll out straight border of coco coir mat. The mat I got is a uniform thickness, about 1/4" or so. The roll is just over 6" wide. There's a faint coir smell, nothing bad. Comes with 6" steel stakes. Note that the description says NOT to mow over it. Most of my garden is curved or circular beds. There is one place where I wanted something that would distribute the water running off my metal roof, so it wouldn't erode the soil just in that one area. This works for that purpose. I did have to use the stakes, which take a little bit of force to get through the mat and into the ground. The stakes are short, so they won't hold as well in my sandy soil. No problem: I just put a few large rocks on the ends. If you have a purpose for this sort of coco coir strip, it works great. I would imagine it does cut with some hefty shears or utility knife. I did not have to cut mine. Product exactly as described, useful for me. Seems good, and the uniformity of the product is great.

I was having a problem with soil erosion during rainstorms so I put this roll down with pinebark mulch on top. Problem solved!

Purchased this dry much to cover the ground beneath my daughter's outdoor playset. The quality is really good- it's thick, durable and pretty flat- but the amount in the roll didn't cover much ground at all. I know this is meant to go around garden beds but I'd be surprised to find any garden bed that requires this little coverage around its perimeter.Despite the lack of product, I did really like what was provided and ended up purchasing a few more roles to make it work for me. It's easy to install with the provided U-shaped pins and does protect against weeds. Make sure you order enough for your project but overall, this is great!
