The product went on easily however the next day I was not impressed with the results. The mulch looked shiny. I used a hose to see if it would stay in place as some of my gardens wash out when it rains. It didn't move as much with the hose spray but perhaps I need to apply more for greater hold. I do not plan on using this in highly visible areas as I do not like the shine.The directions were on the box but there was nothing about the sprayer. I would assume that spraying glue would require it to be cleaned before storing. This is a critical thing to know. I did wash my spray nozzle and hose out just to be safe.

Our front entryway was getting old-over the years, the mulch was just about gone and the rocks were getting pretty low as well. We redid the landscaping and used mulch and white stones alternatively, about a square foot each.I decided to try this Limino mulch glue after seeing ads about landscaping glue.This came with gloves for application use, the spray bottle was very easy to use-you could choose between almost a jet spray and a shower spray. Directions say to mix in water to get the correct consistency, but it was perfect just as is. I did 2-3 coats as one wasn't enough to have the black colour come through (one of my pictures shows the look of one coat over mulch).Cure time is between 12-24hrs. We waited for some sunny days and then sprayed away. It has poured so much since then and nothing has moved out of place. It is very glued together.This adhesive is the colour black so keep that in mind. We just sprayed it over the mulch but didn't do the white rocks, I'm hoping they sell this in clear. It was easy enough to control so that we didn't get it all over the siding or rocks.We did 4 squares, roughly a foot each. This was enough for that project. At almost $50 a bottle, this would quickly add up on bigger products but ours was small and one bottle was enough.It says the glue must applied yearly for maintenance, I'm not sure I will apply it that often but do keep in mind that there is regular reapplication required.Overall, I find this stuff super neat, the bond is very good and our entryway looks lovely.

I've used this type of product once before and I liked the results. While the product is great, it can get quite costly to use over a larger area. It is perfect and cost effective for smaller areas. I had recently used it on pea gravel and my black mulch with good results. I had a section of older black mulch that was in good shape but had faded. I decided the Black Mulch Dye Glue would work well in bringing my black mulch back to it's original look and hold it in place.Application is pretty straightforward, detailed instructions are provided.. The spray pattern is adjustable, you can do a wide spread area or one that is narrower and more targeted. I did a single coat hoping that it would be sufficient since I started off with black mulch, unfortunately once completely dry a second coat was necessary for the black look as well as to hold the mulch in place.While I love this product it is not cost effective for me to use this for the larger projects, unless it can be purchased in bulk size at a discount price. It is perfect for is smaller, more targeted applications.The LIMINO black dye mulch glue is a good product but can get expensive for larger applications. It's a good value for smaller to moderate applications

Pros-- the black colour rejuvenated my black mulch- the applicator has an adjustable nozzleCons-- apply carefully so you do not blacken objects, sidewalks or lawn edging unintentionally- a first heavy coating was completely absorbed into my wood mulch and a second layer also absorbed instead of sitting on the surface and providing an adhesive coating. Since I have a long strip of mulch, I would need many gallons of this adhesive.Conclusion-This adhesive would be effective for a small area of wood mulch, not my yard.

I used this glue for black mulch in flower beds. I like that it is dyed black as it makes my mulch darker and a bit shiny. What I don’t like is the price for only “ok” hold. I have a lot of mulch to keep in place and even with 2 coats the wind will lift clumps of it out of my flower beds. I’m now thinking I need something with stronger hold. Of the glues that I tried this one is the best for hold, but it takes a lot especially if your mulch is chunky like mine. It may hold better on mulch that’s a bit more shredded.

As with most types of mulch, it usually gets blown all over the place and fades after a few months in the sun. I wanted to keep it secure around my walkway and deck and not have to keep adding more or look at the mulch getting aged. This glue did the trick. It holds it together and revitalizes the color. You get two bottles and a manual sprayer. The applicator will give your hand a workout so that can be challenging if your are getting up in age (as my husband and I are getting up there) :-). A god value for the money.

I had several different colors of mulch under our treehouse that always got kicked around and into the nearby lawn. This glue not only keeps it in place but made all the mulch the same color (which makes it look much less like a playground thankfully). Good product.

I ordered the Limino Store's 128oz Black Color Mulch Dye & Landscape Adhesive with Applicator for Landscaping. At the base of our deck we have a stepping stone pathway that leads to our lower patio. Surrounding these stepping stones is black mulch. The contrast looks great when it is freshly applied. After it rains, it is a different story. This is essentially mulch glue which helps lock the mulch into place. I do not have any plants in this area, so that is not a concern for me. I like the usefulness of this landscape adhesive to stop my mulch from all eroding away. Bonus that it is black in color for a color refresh, since black mulch tends to fade in color too quickly in my opinion..

This is a good product. You will need severalCoats in order for it to hold securely. Very durable and can stand up to kicking feet. Super easy to apply with a sprayer . Holds great with several coats. Not very shiny but does exactly what it’s supposed to do when liberally sprayed on. Functions extremely well. Great quality but you will need more than one jug depending upon the size.
