M-D door bottom, l-shape, series: Ultra, 1-3/4 in width, 36 in length, White, UL listed, ADA approved, with vinyl insert, dry cap. Energy loss through the bottom of doors can be minimized with the installation of a door bottom in conjunction with your smooth top threshold. This combination provides a weatherproof seal between the bottom of the door and the top of the threshold. Drip caps also provide your exposed entry ways protection by diverting water away from the door bottom and thresholds. M-D Building Products offers multiple combinations of new and replacement door bottoms and drip caps that will fit most entry doors.

Hard to find white with a drip cap for my door! Feels solid and the threshold seal along with the drip cap should keep the moisture away perfectly.

Works well but had to file the rubber down because of excess drag, I got that ok but the screws were too wimpy and pulled out. 30 cents at the hardware store and it works great.

This is a solidly made door bottom with drip cap. Would purchase again. It's aluminum--not sure why it says "ceramic" in description. Now, where do I purchase a replacement vinyl/rubber sweep for this product?

This is a very nice product and is exactly what I needed. It is not at all sexy but it'd a door sweep/threshold seal and I do not think that could ever be. The finish is spot on and installation is straight forward. I will need to trim it slightly with a hacksaw to fit my door which was expected. The seal is not mounted in the bracket so as to not damage it during shipping so it must be installed. When installing the seal, once it is in the channel you will only be able to push it through so far but if you pull from the inserted end it will slide in with little effort. I highly recommend this product.

My door is 40"W and I had a tough time finding the right size bottom w/ drip cap for it, the standard door is 36" W. Finally, I found this 48" L-shaped door bottom w/ drip cap at Amazon. My contractor cut it to 40" and it's perfect! Sometimes you have to improvise and it came out amazing! Now my door is weather proof.

Easy to install, great finish on the aluminum and it seals up weather tight. Everything you need to install it is included. I have 4, 48" doors, so I was happy to find these 48" pieces so I wouldn't have to use 2 pieces to get across the door. Most are precut for 36" door.
