Item worked as described. Upon inspection it looked to be well made and installed relatively easy. However, I was disappointed in the delivery. Driver left package at a shed at the beginning of our driveway 500 feet from our house.

On any old house with non-standard doors, where the entire exterior door can not be simply replaced with a new prehung, this is an essential piece. I always keep one around for my little old house rental business - not available at the big box hardware stores.

I could only find metal replacement thresholds locally. This nice wood threshold adds warmth and color to our room.
